In the first part of the interview, Ferguson got Simon to admit "he's a lying piece of crap" when he said he knew that Susan Boyle from Britians Got Talent would be fantastic.

Someone asked if Simon really is that full of himself. Yes, he is. Mark this down: I bet Simon does not renew his contract and leaves American Idol. I think he knows that it's headed downhill from here, and he can make himself look good if he leaves. He can make everyone believe that the show is slumping because he left, and, consequently, Simon's stock goes up. He's all about selling himself and other people, i.e. "artists." The only thing Simon loves more than his fame and money is himself.
