Anybody can see that even Adam (at 1-6) can go home. It's pointless to look at DI at this point. It will be clearer in the top 3-4. Just use Kris as an example, he must be getting massive text votes as he always escape being in the bottom 3 every week. It might be true this time for Allison which makes the save last week more asinine.

This is the dialidol score. On that same website, check the raw score (drop down arrow). Lil is dead last in raw score. You need to look at both scores to really assess it. I'm thinking with all the texting going on, dialidol needs to change their algorithm, or incorporate TEXTIDOL into it. Until this season, its been pretty accurate.

I havn't trusted DI all season, of course they're 97% correct, this week they'll be 100% correct as they have all the contestants as possible going home... what a joke

>check the raw score (drop down arrow). The raw score has Allison first and Gokey next to last thus going home. Highly dubious on both counts, don't you think? So according to DI: DI score: Lil 1st, Allison last Busy pct: Lil 1st, Allison last Raw num: Allison 1st, Lil last Completely laughable.

I agree. I've been thinking about the top three. Early on, I figured Gokey, Adam and Lil. That evolved to Adam, Gokey and Allison. Now I'm thinking Allison, Adam, Chris and Gokey, with Matt going home next week. (Anoop and Lil are leaving on a jet plane, I believe). DWD seems to just keep doing the same old thing and hasn't shown the Arti$try as much as Chris in past couple of weeks. I figure they'll keep Allison for M/F balance, a la Kimberly Locke. Is it possible that a Gokey elimination at top 4 would be the PWE shocker?

Kids, kids, kid!!! I love DialIdol too, and check it every week. But lets have a "Reality check" here! DialIdol is "accurate" as far as it goes, but is there ANYONE out there still naive enough to think votes really count????? PUHHHLLEEEZZZZZZZZ!!!! Besides, as others have noted - no way to tab the text messages. AND, even if the votes DID count, it would be RIDICULOUSLY EASY to manipulate the "busy signal". There are not 12 residential phones connected to single residential phone lines, sitting on a Formica counter top in the AI kitchen. These are commercial phone lines, meaning there could be hundreds or even thousands of calls being "answered" simultaneously by the computers that run the phone banks. It would be very simple for AI to make one line stay "busy" the whole night, even if there was only a handful of calls coming in at a time - while they could keep another line NOT busy even if a thousand calls were coming in at any given moment. Honestly, its not "heavy lifting". This is a very easy thing to manipulate - IF they even cared enough to do it. Ever call a customer support line for a major corporation? Notice how the call is answered and a computer tells you "Please hold for the next available East-Indian with limited grasp of the English language" ???? Same deal for Idol, except the computer says, "Thanks for voting for contestant ____ - blah, blah, blah". Hell, I wonder if they really even COUNT the votes by contestant, or just count the total votes cast. Either way - lets don't get carried away. Our "votes" count about as much on I-Dul as they do on Survivor, or Celebrity Apprentice, or Wheel of Fortune!!

TFB , the issue of "do the votes count?" has been debated ad nauseum on here. I personally have come to the conclusion that they are taken into consideration, but are just one of the factors. For example, if a contestant the producers favor and one the producers dislike are in the bottom 2, they will simply keep the one and give the other the boot, regarless of who actually had more votes. But sometimes the manipulation is more drastic. I'll bet some of those "shocking" eliminations in the past were cases where someone just wore out their welcome on the show even though they were still doing well in the voting, or sometimes someone they're indifferent about is sacrificed to goose ratings (please let it be Gokey this season). I still vote because even though they do what they want, I want them to at least see that the contestant they're considering fucking over has fan support and might come back to haunt them, hopefully giving them pause. I firmly believe Tatiana got enough votes in her group to makle it through, but the producers were done with her hijinks. But they know the truth, and they know what they did was wrong. Maybe some day they'll have a twinge of remorse (but I doubt it).
