Oh. My. God. You just summed it up completely right. Three people I know were recently sh*tting themselves over Susan. They even called her cute! I think she sucks, and if she made it on American Idol I would hate on her. We already had to suffer through almost (surprisingly) an entire season of Shrek Doolittle. But this person is even more theatrical than Megan based on voice. The chop is funny. Again.

Finally ^ ^; This is what I first started saying to my mom when people started going apeshit over her and she hadn't seen the clip yet, but to no avail-she thinks Susan Boyle is the beesknees now. I'm tired of seeing this clip everywhere I go. She seems like a nice lady, but she's just an okay singer, sheesh.

I have to agree with you here. I thought i was the only one who was not impressed and annoyed with all the coverage of this woman. I do have to take issue with your comment about checking out any "random Adam Lambert frau" however. I am probably one of those people as I'm a woman and 40-ish and love Adam Lambert. But hey, I'm not ugly at all, seriously. I just think the guy is gorgeous and hot, but probably has eyes for men, not us "fraus". But I'm totally ok with that.

A word to the wise. Please stop sending VFTW that fucking stupid YouTube clip of Susan Boyle on Britain's Got Talent. No one cares. After receiving this movie in our e-mail about 10 times a day, something had to be said. Just because the woman is ugly, it doesn't mean that the clip is even remotely interesting. #1: The woman is not that good of a singer. She's a good singer. Nothing amazing. People just think she's amazing because she's butt ugly. #2- The British judges fall over themselves in a ploy to look like the whole thing wasn't staged and planned. It's bad acting. #3- We don't care if she's on Oprah or has a makeover or has been kissed or whatever. Again, the woman is a gimmick to sell a crappy TV show owned by Simon Cowell. #4- The "I'm so ugly yet I can sing" thing was done to death in season 2 of American Idol. If you want to buy music from an unattractive older woman who has a decent Broadway voice, go buy Clay Aiken's newest album.
