Danny Gokey Continues to be a Douche

This is Danny Gokey's studio recording of "September" for last week's disco theme. At about 2 minutes and 24 seconds in, he starts up his own little mini-sermon about how life gets hard but he's gone through tough times and made it through. Stop using your dead wife for votes, you douchebag. "September" isn't even about that at all. At least Douchey will get a wakeup call when he fails as a recording artist after the show is over.

Well that was uncomfortable. He is somehow worse in the studio than he is on American Idol. Also, those pictures are fugly and I want to fucking puke.

And his little "inspirational" bullshit about getting through hard times; What a douche. Does he not understand that pimping your dead wife for votes on a shitty TV show is not ok?

I fucking hate him. Ugh.

I actually didn't understand why there was a gospel preacher thing about hard times. September is a song about reminiscing a love born on September. It has nothing to do with praising the Lord and persevering through hard times. He just tied in I Can See Clearly Now so he could do this excuse to be able to get into the Christian scene.

He is so lame. And all his Gokebert fans or whatever they call themselves continue to insist that *he only mentioned his dead wife once* and refuse to admit he shoves her down our throat with every song he sings with his *emotions*. Then, some really lamo fan explains that BECAUSE his wife died he performs on some *deeper* level than the rest of them.

I guess he couldn't find a Disco song which talked about losing the love of his life so he had to add this crap in the middle of September. Because he danced lamely around last week and couldn't be quite so explicit in his *Remember my wife is dead and I have deep emotions* song choice, I predict a real tearjerker for tonight with NO dancing just lost heavenward looks.

I really hate what he's done to such a marvelous song. I don't know how long it will take to forget DWD's "inspirational" verson, but I'd be willing to have that part of my brain removed if it would speed it up any.
