If the two-song thing was really dropped, then that sucks. And Jamie Foxx is a very ridiculous mentor. They're probably replacing the second songs with dumb filler like a video for him, besides judge comments. Maybe some stool chats. They're gonna just annoy us and kill time.

Fuck, they should have gone with a swine flu week, instead. Like, songs ever sung that mention animals and bodily/mental sickness of any kind. Eminem would have made an excellent mentor: thanks to him, everyone knows that his ex-wife is a bitch of which he's sick. Plus he needs a LOT of pimping for his upcoming album.

Jamie Foxx is one of the biggest douches in Hollywood. My cousin has been acting for over twenty years. He's not rich, but he's a working actor that can pay his bills, support his family, and does what he loves. He worked with him on Ray, and was embarassed how he treated the staff and crew of the film: rude, late, and yelling all the time.

He also is so vain, he plucked his eyebrows daily until he had three hairs left, and bitched at the makeup team for fucking up his face. They had to apply eyebrow merkins to him to fix the shots. His behavior is so rude, few people will work with him again, and its costing him a lto of jobs. That's why he hasn't been in that many movies despite being an Oscar winner.

 I have no idea why tptb would choose such a dick to be a mentor, or how they'll edit the shots to get anythign usable. Even if they don't give two shits about the idols, they should respect their crew enough not to subject them to some asshole primadonna who won't even talk to his fellow actors during rehersals or during takes. My cousin literally was ignored during an 8 hour shoot.

Why not have Robbie Williams be the mentor? He actually has had hits in the last ten years, and did a whole album of swing covers. ANNNND, he's batshit crazy, so at least he'd be amusing.
