watching that "performance" was painful. my 78 year old granny moves better than paula. kinda' sad... did anyone get the impression that seacrap was trying to get her to announce she was leaving the show after her little number?

OK people, looooooooooooooooooooong time lurker and voter for the worst but this is my actual first post, ever.I love how she's never said she's checked into rehab. She checked into a place here in my town (really Tulsa, Nagasaki is my wrestling hometown) quite a few years back that was for drug abusers, eating disorders, and mental illness. To tell you how far back this was, she was still married to Emilio Estevez.

"I've never checked into a rehab clinic." It's safe to say she's still on the pills, how else would she have had an assisted cartwheel and sing during her performance? Was she trying to show America how to be an Amerian Idol? Perhaps she better go back to the 80's where you could win money at the local bar doing lipsynching.

Well, Sensei, I know she struggled with an eating disorder a long time ago, so that may have been why she was in rehab that time. But it's almost a relief to think that she's still on drugs. It explains her loopy behavior this season (I love that you shop in the women's department! Not a lot of men do that!) that would be even more worrisome if she were sober.

After Paula Abdul outed her struggle with overcoming addictive painkillers to Ladies Home Journal, Ms. Rehabdul now says she never said that. A Dallas radio show asked Paula if it was hard to talk about her past addiciton, Paula said, "I didn't. I was quoted as saying something I didn't say... It was very stressful for me to hear that and to be quoted saying something. I never said. I've never checked into a rehab clinic. I've never been addicted or abused drugs, and I've never abused alcohol. I've never even been drunk in my life." So what does this mean? Paula's still on the sauce and can't even remember outing herself as an addict. Truly sad! But at least this gives us hope that she'll do something else miraculously stupid on Idol this week when she takes the drugs she doesn't take.
