morons4idol: Whoa, hun, take it with a grain of salt. My aunt has cerebral palsy, but I can still find brooklynb2152's comment mildly amusing. Honestly, I'm happy to know that there are people who actually know what cerebral palsy is in the first place.

Remember, humor and taste are bitter enemies, and if you disagree, well, then you have a shitty sense of humor.

Three thoughts came to my mind tonight regarding Danny being sent home:

1. Your site, for some reason, backfired. This means that if people did vote for Danny, then the whole contest is really fixed as AI wanted to send VFTW a message;

2. Or, there aren't that many people who read this site who really follow the program .They privately vote for their favorite candidate even though they may write here that they will vote for Danny as they can't stand him and want to "screw" AI;

3. Or, this site doesn't attract a large enough readership to actually make a difference.

Was Simon's surprise real? Of course not--they all know ahead who will be eliminated(including the contestants). Any other thoughts on why Kris survived the cut?? The teeny-bopper girlie vote? Manipulation to jack up the viewership for next week? Thoughts out there?

I think they didn't want to get saddled with DWD's lack of talent, and since they don't have to go with the vote and can send anyone home they want to, we'll never know if any Idol winner was ever the "actual" winner. Honestly, if you were running a TV show would you want it forever associated with that scream?? A YouTube sensation yes, but not a horrible one like that. And his f-ing up in basically all his performances in Milwaukee this weekend clinched it. Notice how they didn't show him singing during his hometown visit tonight...enough said.

You are probably right. They don't want another loser(i.e., Danny) becoming the AI. For that reason, I just can't see Kris ending up as the winner. He is good-looking but rather bland and forgettable.

Adam may be the most novel AI ever picked. I also bet that Adam has a good agent who has worked with him during his professional career who helped guide Adam to become memorable in his clothing, style, etc. so that he would stand out from the beginning once he entered the AI contest. Adam is 28 and had to get on the show this year. Isn't that the top age limit?

Bet next year's AI will be a female who will be more mainstream!
