I agree with ChaoticFreshness. I think it's great how amused he is by all the hype about if he's gay. His refusal to pull a Clay Aiken and come straight out and say "hey, I'm gay" makes me laugh. I love his attitude about it. I think it's pissing off some of the reporters who want a straight (no pun intended) answer though haha. Good job Glambert.

Oh, and the whole "top" thing irritates me too. The top/bottom nonsense reminds me of a weird take on the inequality of women's roles. I despise stereotypes like that, and it really irritates me some straight people see comments like that and assume this is how all gay/bi people think/act.

But gay/bi people do think/act like that.

Leave the poor man alone! My god. These questions about his sexuality are like poking a bruise. Not to compare Adam to a bruise, but if you keep poking it, it won't do anything, just get worse. I'm saying that the more you ask Adam these questions, the more he's gonna keep it a secret because he enjoys being coy about the subject. Way to be Adam. Tell everyone when YOU are ready! I await your "People" magazine cover of you when you feel it is right to explain this sensitive subject!

I happen to be a large woman and I am NOT EVER going to chase Adam Lambert. He has no appeal to me. Now David Cook, totally. But never Adam. Having said that.....IF he is gay (which is his own business) he has the right to not come out, or come out. Its his business alone. Some times people are just over the top and not gay. Altho I read on a blog somewhere he introduced his boyfriend to the idols, but again who knows and its his business. I have good friends who are gay, lesbian and straight and bi. Gay me are so very very sweet. You can have a gay guy as a best friend and he will never hurt you. Same with women, they dont stand around looking at you thinking I want that. They seriously dont.

Ok now this is the absolute first time I have commented as its the first time Ive been on VFTW site as a member so I hope yall give me a break. Thanks

And if he DID decide to make a public deal about "coming out" (which is entirely his own decision to make), why on earth would he do it in an interview with some minor-league reporter from a birdcage space-waster like EW.

Save it for Larry King or Letterman, Adam. Or, at the very least, for Jimmy Kimmel. Way to market yourself.

I'm glad Kris won, but I'm liking on Adam more and more, too. For me, for you, Dawg.

You have to think about it from a storytelling point of view. If he comes out, that's it, story over, people won't be writing "the guy who may or may not be gay" on magazine covers.

By keeping the question open Adam generates buzz. The media can't get enough of him. He's in the spotlight, the subject of heated debates, Aperilla posts weird delusional videos about him. He's not in the closet, but his refusal to say "yes, I am gay" keeps people tuned in. If he admits his homosexuality, the media will report it for about five seconds because it's not really a shocker, now, is it? Tabloids and Bill O'Rilley will move on to juicier stories and he'll become old news.

Now, if Allen or Gokey came out, then that would create heat. With Adam, it really is like beating a dead horse.

P.s. Is it just me or Lambert's attitude towards his sexuality remind anybody else of Morrissey, from the Smiths? After over 20 years of writing extremely homoerotic songs but never confirming being gay, he finally came out and nobody cared.

All you have to do is look @ his myspace page, and his fans only myspace site to confirm that he is gay, he is not hiding it. Do a bit of research, the answers are out there.

I don't think anyone wants to be defined by who they sleep with. Maybe that's why Adam keeps being coy. The fact that he's gay is obvious to everyone who isn't delusional, but people insist on making it an issue.
