Do you think Sanjaya would like to win this way? He looks mortified to even be there...there are some very talented singers on this year's show. Don't they have a right to be recognized for their talent? You guys don't have enough to do. Get jobs, look after your families. Were you the biggest losers in high school? Is this your way of getting back at everyone? Taylor Hicks was my favourite last year, picked from the very first audition. How do you explain that? He and Sanjaya are not even close to comparable. I'm certain that there will be enough of a backlash tonight to keep Sanjaya from moving on, even with your assistance. I work in an executive type office. Men and women with degrees longer than their name now follow American Idol because of this website. I think one of the "big deal" managers in our office secretly casts votes using his cell phone, but he would never admit it! These individuals would never have tuned in to AI if it weren't for me pointing out the reality of how the show really is and when you know the "real deal", it makes AI even more entertaining. What is so funny is the fact that these teeny-boppers think all of this is "real". They believe that it truly is a singing competition; afterall, if Simon Cowell continues to drill it into our heads by "reminding" us that it is for real, then eventually (they're hoping), everyone will believe it. But for me (us), it is truly entertainment.
AI should be proud of this website and it is our collective opinion that each contestant should hope that they become the VFTW's pick. How could they NOT want to be VFTW's pick? Okay, so they get picked on a little bit. What do they expect? They signed on the dotted line to be tortured by the AI staff for the rest of their lives! Honestly, when it gets down to it, AI becomes a lottery of sorts. AI controls them if they win - and sometimes even when they don't! I am amazed each week at the drama that is exposed on national t.v....in the news (i.e. Frenchie, Antonella, etc.) to keep us focused on the show, and then we are further inundated with reviews from journalists who somehow think they are qualified to give their opinion on national t.v.!
Pay no attention to the nay-sayers. We like the website and what is being done here. Without this website, AI would definitely be too boring for words. Too bad AI won't add you to their website. lol. By the way, I am going to be joining in on the voting this week. I am having a telephone modem installed on my home computer so that I can vote AND watch the comments all at the same time!

So when did you try out thinking that you had talent just to be shot down in a humiliating fashion? Obviously something along those lines had to happen; being as your whole website sounds like a crybaby rant-fest and a pathetic attempt to attack a TV show. How can you do this? it is ridiculous! To a certain extent i can understand why you are doing it, i mean you are just looking for the most entertaining but you really may ruin American Idol. This may be just some funny joke to you but its not. We have voted and voted for people and becasue you felt like being assholes you won! You, don't even like American Idol, so back off! And please, don't even pull that crap that American Idol is a disgrace on all American Music. Bullcrap! Kelly Clarkson has been nominated several times for many awards and has won 2 grammys. Carrie Underwood just recently took home 2 grammys herself(onlya year after her American Idol win). Chris Daughtry did not make it as the #1 American Idol (which im sure was your fault) but, he was in the top 4 and now he has a #1 hit song all across the united states. He's had the #1 hit song for the past fricking month! So don't give me that crap that American Idol is a disgrace to American Music. This show is giving Americans a chance to be apart of our American Music. It's giving people who may have never ever got a chance to do what they have always wanted. Do you realize that everytime you call in you are crushing a poor American human being's dreams. I mean do you even think about that.Do you even think about anyone but yourself? Sure this show is for our entertainment, but its main reason is to bring some new faces to hollywood. It is to make someone's dreams come true. And you are ruining that. You people are the disgraces on America. So go ahead, you can laugh at this letter and say "oh look some stupid american idol wannabe just sent us another letter let's taunt and laugh". But, you know what you should turn those fingers around becasue i would not be surprised if you are jealous of those people. Do they not...get it? That's the exact point. Hi my name is mike and i love watching american idol. I am sorry but fox is right you guys suk. Idol is deffently about singing and people should vote on who is the best singer. Find take your side if we were going vote for the worst because we like watching bad people sing, for example carrie underwood Kelley clarkson and chris from last year they were all good singers. i think its just bs that you do that.I cant wait for the next episode but when the wrong people leave it ruins the enire week because stupid people vote for the wrong reason. idol is making the charts not because they were bad but they are giving a real person a chance to have a carreer of singing and some of them derserve it. Thank you, VFTW, for making Idol interesting. I was on board for Sanjaya to be the original VFTW over Sundance. But, I can see where you were coming from--Sundance was the biggest good-song-butcher Idol has seen in a while. I was definitely disappointed when Princess Porcelain was voted off and even more pissed off b/c I couldn't vote for her (typical Idol busy signals--can you say fixed???). Watching Antocrappa Barba go all the way would have been a dream come true. The singing was horrible, but the pics put her over the top (a couple Miss Lewinskis on Simon wouldn't have hurt, maybe she could have been saved). Don't worry about the haters, they just make for more laughs each week in the mail bag. You guys ROCK! Thanks for the Laughs. --malan89 P.S. Do you remember when Idol was in Greensboro? A self described "hip hop queen" camera whore contestant from Charlotte (gotta represent) was cut by the judges with a couple of Simon's signature comments and was followed by Idol cameras all the way down the street and around the arena as she flashed the finger and cussed out Simon the whole way. The situation was topped off with the use of the obnoxious Idol logo censor. It's ironic how they call it a "family show".

Don’t you people think it might be intelligent to make some effort to understand what it is you trying to say is a scam for what it is. I work in television casting for MTV. To see that you are actually stating that it’s a scam that not everyone see’s randy simon and paula is just fueling a fire that shouldn’t be fueled. Anyone that knows anything about casting for television would tell you that:
A: its impossible for us casting directors to see that many people no matter how many days we are there.
B: there are more requirements from a television network than just a good voice. Focus groups tell you a lot and frankly unattractive people make viewers tune out. Attractive ones don’t. Forget not that TV is an escape, its meant to me, and even reality tv isn’t meant to be viewed as completely untouched….it would never work.
I hope AI gets ruined just for your sake cuz when it does, YOU WONT HAVE A JOB….REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE PART OF THE MACHINE, PART OF THE SCAM YOU TALK ABOUT. Just a thought.
