Daughtry Album Cover for "Leave This Town"

Hmm... I normally agree with a lot of what you say, but this isn't so true. Daughtry is really awesome. Why do you not like them?

Because Dave as well as most everyone else on this website has ZERO taste in music.

WTF is wrong with you people. Daughtry is, at best, a passable clone of Nickelback. Nickelback are a terrible plague on the music industry that has sucked all creativity and musicality out of rock music.

Sometimes I think Dave and co. are unnecessarily negative (for example, I think Jordin Sparks has had some pretty good tunes) but Daughtry is terminally lame.

Actually, I think Daughtry is a whole lot better than Nickelback... and I don't think I would put the sound of their music in the same category. They are both rock/contemporary, but the sound of the two are is very different.

People that like this awful music are pop-music-shit eaters. Fraughtry is horrid, bland drivel. I wish this kind of music would leave this earth.

His album cover lets his huge, freaky head blend into the background. I think I see part of his misshapen skull in the hair of the guy to his right. It's like The Twilight Zone's "To Serve Man."

Daughtry - yet another Creed etc clone, pushing out tedious shite for morons. Chanty simplistic music that's easy to yell along to when drunk. Nothing original or interesting about it.

I like your avatar ParadeOn, but that cover is terrible. A typical poseur picture of a band with the lead singer looking off to the side why the rest of the hacks look forward. Of course there's also some douche with a mohawk . And the Nickelcrack comparisons are appropriate since Daughtry cowrote his first single with self fellater Chad Kroeger.

I love this website - it's so much fun screwing with Idol - I voted the entire 4 hrs for Kris. But sorry guys, Daughtry is not that bad - I was happy when he got voted off early and didn't get stuck with 19E's crappy corination song and contract.

Sure, Daughtery is "not that bad" - but lets face it: he's damned sure "not that GOOD" either. And when you factor in his colossal, out-of-control ego - you get a combination BEGGING for ridicule.

In the world of "I-Dull" he's one of the brightest stars. But in the world of commercial music, seriously, he's just another generic "rock act" cranking out generic, commercial "pop rock" bubble-gum - 99.9% of which will be forgotten a couple months after the album is released.
