The Fallen Debuts First Single "Bury Me Alive"

Unaffected by failing at having a career five times, Carly Smithson is now in a band with the former Evanescence members (minus Amy Lee). Their first song "Bury Me Alive" is out now, and the song is trying WAY too hard to make Carlyplant sound like Amy Lee. It's amusing. And the song is not catchy. Looks like another failure is in the works.

Carly always did sound a bit like Amy Lee, but without the artistic credentials. I have to disagree about this sounding like a failure, though. It has a sizeable portion of the talent that helped drive Evanescence's original success. If Carly can be adequate with the vocals in the live performances, they'll probably do alright. It doesn't sound chart-topping, but they'll sell records.

I think Amy Lee is a bitch, and anyone who tries to be her is bad enough. When it's Carly-fucking-plant trying, that makes it beyond evil.

I like how long it's taken her to do something when Chile's got an album and been to all these shows.

I guess it's alright, if you like that sort of thing. I have trouble telling Evanescence songs apart anyway and this sounds like all their others to me. I have to admit, Carly is a good fit for this band, but will the fantards buy into it? Splinter groups sans leading lady or guy seldom do well.

Congratulations on taking a spectacular dive once again. How many people's careers are you wanting to destroy? Have you ever thought about getting a real job?

You have got to be fucking kidding me. I'm not a rock person per se but Evanescence is one of the bands I love mainly because of Amy Lee. That bitch is a cheap knock version of her and it's so obvious in the beginning she's trying to copy. It's similar to the melody in Bring Me To Life.

It's not that terrible, especially if you were a fan of Evanescence. Basically, it sounds just like them, with some added screaming. I was never a big fan of Evanescence, even though at times they could put out some pretty decent rock. But Carly's screaming will drown the riffs right out.

Nicklelback - male lead singer + female lead singer = The Fallen (or whatever they call themselves now)

female lead singer = Carly

Carly = Failure

Nickleback = Sucks

therefore, The Fallen = Inevitable Failure that will suck balls
