Adam Lambert's old record label is planning to release an album this summer of Adam's pre-Idol recordings. So Adam released a statement that the songs were recorded as demos for other artists, saying, "Back in 2005 when I was a struggling artist, I was hired as a studio singer to lend my vocals to tracks written by someone else. I was broke at the time and this was my chance to make a few bucks, so I jumped at the opportunity to record for my first time in a professional studio." Is it any shock the guy is lying? TMZ uncovered a memo from Adam's old label showing that Adam coworote a majority of the songs. Clearly, Adam is just embarrassed about the songs, but what an idiot for lying about it. Now he's just going to look stupid.

A drunk, a druggie, a guy who hooks up random men while drunk, and now a liar? My my, what a shock!! I'm sure all the tards will have an excuse for THIS, too.

WOW, this guy's turning out to be a bigger plant than Cunty Failwhale! This was probably the plan all along for him and his old label; get on AI, drum up a shitload of PR, drop the record before the tour starts and cash in, baby!

Far be it for me to ever defend this douche, but I don't think Lamebert is actually lying about anything here. The fact is, he never claimed that all of the songs on this album were a result of studio demo work. The statement that he and his publicists released was in reference to the song Want, which the TMZ memo clearly shows was not written by Adam or any of his associates. The same songwriter for Want also wrote On With the Show, so it's probably true that these two songs were, in fact, demos that Adam recorded for a quick buck back in 2005. The nine songs on this album that Adam did write have all been accessible via YouTube and MySpazz for the past several years, and he has never said or done anything to disown them. I think it's pretty clear that this "album" is a sleazy compilation of various tracks that Adam has recorded over the years put out by a bottom-feeding record company trying to make a quick buck off of Lamebertards who are too stupid to download them for free. The sad thing here is that some of the songs on this album are better than anything that will ever appear on Adam's RCA record, so this piece of cheap shit may end up being the best thing he'll ever produce.

You can commence with your accusations of fantarding now...

RBloodworth, that's exactly my take on the situation. With RCA as he did not win, he won't see a dime in royalties until all costs have been recovered and it looks like he has a pretty expensive taste as far as producers. If the HI-FI memo released is indeed valid according to it, Flameberg could cash a bundle as a singer and songwriter and this songs a more mainstream than the crap he probably will put out with RCA! He may be everything said about him and probably even more but he could end-up being the one laughting all the way to the bank! Everything seems to work according to his Pop goes the camera lyrics (now renamed conveniently renamed 15 minutes of fame). Cash in and move on!

Things a little slow around the VFTW clubhouse are they?

His comment was directed at "Want" and the other songs he didntwrite that HiFi intends to release.

He made the comment before HiFi announced what songs they intended to put on the album. No where did he deny cowriting songs with Pittman and CV.

Refering to HiFi as "his old label" is just going to make you look stupid. He never worked with HiFi.

I can see him not saying that he co-wrote the songs. That type of stuff he wrote isn't the stuff he is working on now. And also he didn't comment on who wrote the songs, so he isn't necessarily lying. Why do people make this a big deal? People make things have so much drama. Just drop stuff for crying out loud. It's not the end of the world if Adam lied about not co-writing the songs. And anyways, it'd seem more of a big deal if he said that he co-wrote songs he didn't write.

So sad, just like TMZ, VFTW is trying to make something out of nothing, and of course like usual, both have their facts messed up...
