We down here speculate that the kid was drunk, hit Alexis, then, in the truest Shore drunk tradition, ran home to Mommy and Daddy (most likely Daddy, who probably lives in the Highlands, which is 40 miles north) to sober up and figure out what to do. That was fast. According to the Asbury Park Press, Police arrested 23 year old Daniel Bark from Toms River, NJ in connection with Alexis Cohen's death. Bark is being charged with "causing Cohen's death by reckless driving and then leaving the scene of the collision." If he is convicted, Bark could receive 10-15 years in jail.
