While the Idols are Touring, What is Jasmine Murray Doing?

Jasmine Murray, the not-so-memorable top 13 contestant from American Idol 8, performed "Single Ladies" at the 2009 Mary Kay Seminar. An odd venue, but Jasmine shows 100 times more personality and better vocals than she ever did on the show, so good for her. Hopefully this will lead to other opportunities, like the 2010 Avon Convention and the 2011 Ms. Regional Tupperware Reunion Tour.

It's a good thing that you can't see her alien face from the distance. Nice legs.

This is actually a big gig for anyone, so kudos to Jasmine. The Mary Kay annual convention has been going on at the Dallas Convention Center for the last couple of weeks, and the attendees are staying at hotels all over the city. There are shuttle buses bringing them into the convention center each day. The attendance this year is reported to be around 35,000, and it is up from years past, since many people have joined their sales force after losing jobs in the bad economy. The Dallas Morning News did some articles on the convention a couple of weeks ago. Good going Jasmine, the AI tour concert last week at the Dallas American Airlines Center probably didn't have this big an audience (although the Mary Kay attendance is spread out over several weeks).

Its amazing what a vacation to the home planet could do. Tupperware should keep her feeling fresh while she's visiting us.
