***Some bad, bad news. I was there, and Adam was NOT at the private after party meet n greet tonight.

Adam was not at the after party tonight. I am so glad I was prepared for this happening by reading what may have happened in Tampa last night. I went into the after party half expecting he wouldn't be there, and saw immediately that he wasn't. Everybody else was, but no Adam.

When talking to Kris I asked him why Adam wasn't there and he said, "He's not feeling well." But I don't buy it for two reasons. One, he was just too great tonight for someone who's not feeling well. He hit all the high notes and was full of energy as always. His voice was clear as a bell and he sang in his usual high key.

Two, it was just the way Kris said it. Like it was a rehearsed line. And let me tell you, the after party meet n greet is very low key. Not a lot of people, maybe 75 total in the room, if that. It's not very taxing on any of them. It's very relaxed. And he could have shown up and just posed for pics, and then not waited around to sign stuff and talk to people. That would have been a simple and completely easy thing to do. But he didn't.

My feeling is there IS a serious security issue going on. I just don't think Adam, knowing how much he appreciates his fans, would not show up for something as low key as this just because he felt a bit ill.

I am majorly bummed tonight. Not because I didn't get to meet him, but because I am very worried, concerned and angry about him possibly being freaked out over some crazy. It just kills me, and breaks my heart to bits.

I haven't cried yet, but it's coming. Gotta go get all the glam off my face and eyes first. Then I'm sure I will explode in tears. Such a sweet gentle soul should never have to deal with this kind of crap. Yeah, I know it could all be just rumor, and it could be he really is sick. I do hope so. Not that I want him to be sick, of course. But to think of him having to live his life in fear is just incomprehensible to me, and infuriates me.

I'm gonna go have that cry now.

From my point of view, the most telling FACT from all this is that no one, not the Idols in their tweets, nor anyone from AI is DENYING that something did happen. There hasn't been one denial of the rumors. That means something. And on top of that there has been no other explanation offered to explain the change in Adam's availability. Put those two things together and to me it spells security problem. I expected there to be crazies after him. It's not rocket science to realize that with the kind of stratospheric fame he's achieved in such a short time, the demand for a piece of him would far outweigh the availability of adequate security.

I expressed concern a long time ago about Adam coming here to this area. It is a hotbed of religious fanaticism and for crazies in general. If something were to happen, it would be here.
