TMZ is reporting today that Paula Abdul's goodbye tweet where she said she is leaving American Idol even shocked the producers of the show. Paula was apparently given an offer that she didn't like, so she asked Idol for more money. The producers didn't agree and countered with another offer. But rather than talk to them, Paula shocked everyone by tweeting her goodbye. Idol took the tweet as serious and issued a statement saying she's out.
We wonder if Ms. Rehabdul was a little "happy" when she tweeted and cost herself a job. Either way, Randy and Kara should have been fired before Paula as they are much more useless and much less funny to watch.

Frankly, I'm crossing my fingers that this is some gamesmanship by Pauler's new agent, and just a ploy to wring more money out of the douches at 19E, and if so, i hope it works! Watching the never-ending train wreck that IS Pauler Abdul is about the most entertaining thing left on i-Dull. I don't blame her for demanding more money - She and Simon ARE the show. The entertainment value of I-Dull wouldn't change ONE BIT if Dio-cuntia, Jerkson, or Seacrap left - but its going to be a far different show without our favorite drunk!! Honestly, she may not be worth a crap as a singer or dancer anymore, and may not have a shot in hell of making it on any other TV show - but she's 100 times more valuable to THIS particular show than Seacrap - and they are paying that dork $45 million. . . .

Thank goodness she has the recent #1 hit single and platinum-selling album to fall back on. Ahhhh.....what? It tanked!? Really! LOL Hope she enjoys her "journey." Let's take a look at the video.... But I agree with TMZ, look for Nygel to lasso her into his little dance-off show as a co-host, judge or choreographer.

em, i think her departure can be easy fixed. just throw a bit of pot in randy's coca cola cup and he will be speaking like her, with a dawg accent. and yeah, kara is the only one of the judges who picked a fight since episode one. that's fun!
