If he wasn't gay before, I'm sure he would be by now. If I had sweaty glitter frau chasing me, I'd switch teams, too.

He needs to get his ass to the meet-and-greets and stop taking things for granted. He's the first contestant to axe going out before the show to meet fans- not even one of the winners have done that-I remember another runner-up who seemed to let things go to his head and who felt he had it all in the bag- his name was Blake Lewis. Need I say more?

Madam had a 'headache' in Northern California also and didn't come out to see the herd of the unwashed masses waiting to subject him with smothering hugs and slobbering kisses, with their cheaply made glittery signs with big hearts on them in their chubby little sweaty paws.

I don't blame him one bit. He clearly had enough when someone threw a bra onstage. If I was him, I'd be afraid for my life. I'd hate to be any of the guys on tour right now, actually. Having to listen to overweight, undersexed frauen scream their bras off, combined with having to listen to Douchey Gokey at all must be absolute torture for these guys.

Hehe seas of fat. I just imagine this sea of rolls, chins and celluite busting out in waves on a shore of Glambert. I feel no sympathy towards him. None. What season is this? They should know what they are getting into and I wonder how many more "headaches" and "sore throats" they'll allow him to have. He probably has a contract that he has to follow for those backstage frau fests. Suck it up Glambert, I hear thats what you do best anyways o.O

He hides from the herd but goads them on to throw more bras. He's really playing them. Hey Frauffalo! He hates you and is using you. Dumb fat asses. Be sure to buy his album as he runs away from your hideous fat-roll stampede. Adam, welcome to your career!

I agree that he cannot keep doing this if he expects his career to last longer than Blake Lewis' (and don't tell me Blake Lewis still has a career... if he did, he would still be welcome to do cameos on their show like other Idol alums). After awhile, you have to wonder if Adam really is sick or if he really is ditching the fans. Out of the top 10, you have to admit, he is the only one that can afford to ditch the fans.

Have to rest the voice, what a load of shit. Other idols did vocal rest too but still came and saw the fans. That's all they want. Like Gaspy being out there not talking but just smiling at everyone and signing autographs. That doesn't require Madam to screech. At this point he probably can't wait to be away from American Idol but unfortunately (fortunately for those of us who like to laugh) the frau ain't going anywhere. Just ask poor David Cook. The Glamberts are so fucking irritating they're killing his chances of gaining any new fans who didn't see him on American Idol.

Obviously it's hard to blame him. And it might be a good or at least harmless decision. If he wants to have some success outside the regular AI fan community, he shouldn't have to depend on them making his sales. It's understandable for the others who pretty much only have the frau to help jumpstart a career. Maybe he thinks he doesn't have to cultivate the supertards ala Taylor Hicks or Clay, and he'd probably be right. It's not like those two have had stellar careers anyway. Meanwhile, Kris is humbly submitting to frau demands but at least he says a few gems about them in interviews.

Yes I could blame him if I actually cared about him personally. This is what he signed up for, this is what gave him the national publicity. I find him totally unoriginal and a mediocre singer at best, but what do you expect from American Idol? You expect melodrama from the contestants and overwrought judging. So, this is par for the course. If he wasn't an immature self-involved brat then he wouldn't have made it on American Idol in the first place.
