I have a friend who is dating someone on the touring crew and apparently most of the Adam Lambert diva rumors have been true. Evidently, half of the people who work with him can't stand to be around him. He bitches about his hair, his clothes, his make-up, and having to go out and meet with the hoards of fans. He's lucky he knows how to actually pull it together in front of the fans he does meet, because without the Frau, he's nothing.

Seriously, does it surprise anyone that he's like this? I'd bet anything that if the frau suddenly transformed into greasy little gay men wearing wifebeaters and skinny jeans, he'd be out "meeting and greeting" in a heartbeat. He's such a tool.

I was at the after show meet and greet in Atlantic City and Adam was the only Idol who didn't come. It was a let down for sure for those of us who were fans, especially considering this was a very small group of about 30-40 ppl who came into a room for about half an hour. There was no wild screaming ladies and everything was very calm (unlike the crowd outside from what I heard). The fact he gave the excuse he was up at 5am was lame....Kris Allen (the winner!) was up then too for the same concert in NYC that morning and he made it to the meet and greet AND was very friendly. Adam may be a good performer on stage but whether he likes it or not, the "fans" are what help you sell records and dissing them is the first step in the wrong direction.

Huh @ the comments. Personally I'm amused that he keeps brazenly scorning the "fans". Plus it's not as though performers are obligated to do this shit before or after shows, seems more like a traditional AI mentality that these fans should be rewarded with access to groping and getting scribbled signatures of the people they voted for. It's actually kind of fucking stupid. I'm all for anything that doesn't indulge tard behavior. Good for him I say, if he thinks he'll do fine without fair-weather fans like you Colleen.

"He clearly had enough when someone threw a bra onstage." Did anyone see it being thrown? It probably broke loose while the frau herd were trembling in anticipation and flew like a slingshot towards the stage. Good thing no one was injured (unless someone got hit by falling frautits)

Smartie-I think you are so right on the Blake 2.0 The way I see it - my life still goes on and does not depend on fans or albums and while it might have been fun if he had decided to grace the fans at the meet and greet with his presence...I didn't lose any sleep over it. Despite liking his performances on stage, I do find it entertaining to see how many times he doesn't greet fans though....
