Is it just me? Or do the producers seem to get stupider and stupider every season?

T.J., it's not just you. I used to think the producers were some kind of evil geniuses with the whole Simon vs. Paula thing. But it turns out it was just dumb luck. Worth to the show is based on results, not how intelligent you are. And Seacrest could be replaced for far less than 45 million.

Ryan could be replaced quite nicely for less than 45 cents. Please. Now. Pretty please?

I think it's absolutely hilarious that they got Posh as a guest judge. A talentless hack trying to criticise a bunch of wannabes. That's precious.

i agree with killjoy. posh has been totally lethargic all these 30 years. and kara has written some pretty decent song, like "sober" or "beep". she's not all evil. but guys, try to understand Victoria. what would you be like if you had to hear david's screechy voice all the time?

Eurgh. DioGuardi's a pain but at least she's been busy with her "career" of writing bland pop lyrics. What's Beckham done in recent years, besides relive her 90's fame in a reunion tour? Honestly, I've never been able to stand the Spice Girls or the popularity that goes with them. Unoriginal, overhyped pop cheese. Also, Simon Fuller was the Spice Girls' manager, according to Wikipedia. What a coincidence, eh?

DioGuardi's meh, in my opinion. I agree, empath, some of her songs aren't bad, but others are songs like No Boundaries, which is pretty much a rehash of every other Idol finale song. Some variation or real creativity would be great there. Also, I don't consider judging Idol to be a true career. Hence the quotes. Victoria usually seems to have this expression like there's something nasty under her nose. It's hard to say whether she's always been that way, or if it's being around Beckham that did it :P

Gang; Victoria is there for two reasons: 1) She is Simon Fuller's charge, and he wants someone he can trust as a guest panelist. 2) She is there to deflect attention away from her meal ticket, er, husband, who has been very much acting like a twat recently. This is also in the best financial interest of their Manager, one Simon Fuller.
