We like Paula. We really do. She's the VFTW judge for sure. But do we have to hear every 5 seconds if something changed in her saga to have her contract negotiated with Idol or if she might have another job? TMZ has been bouncing back and forth all weekend with tips. Apparently, Paula wants back on American Idol and turned down Dancing With The Stars. But then Paula talked to ABC about having her own variety show or a talent competition that she would produce. Either way, we do want Paula the train wreck back on our TVs, Idol or not... but will someone just give her a deal so the rumors can stop?

But if she gets a deal, what would you write about (here on vftw) in the off season? One of the former also rans releases a single? WooHoo!!! This here is comedy gold, if only you would realize it. Paula the cheerleader choreographer, Paula who can't sing even when she's not drunk, Paula the clueless ditz, Paula who picks out the hottest guys for 'special' attention. Paula who sways along the edge but never quite falls off the cliff, and somehow manages to land in a cushy pile of money.

It is all a ploy. Either she got pissed because she didn't get the money Seacrest got and stormed off or just a ploy for more intrigue for AI during the off season to keep AI in the news. I say it was because she got mad they didn't want to give her any more money. She too much of a mess to be let go. We need her. So we can lol more.
