Who is this guy? I don't remember him. What a loser.

I enjoyed his performances on Idol and his single after his Idol was over for their uniqueness and such... it's unfortunate that he's been kind of d00she-like since then.

Why do I feel like kicking him in the face every time I see this picture?

I make my living in the tax field so can tell you that the only way Blake would go to jail over this is if he either 1) fails to file tax returns for several years (and even then the IRS would be slow to react) or 2) files a tax return but fails to include substantial amounts of income.

Richard Hatch didn't declare his Survivor winnings ("That wasn't me, that was the Richard Hatch from Battlestar Galactica!"), and that's why he went to jail. Pete Rose got busted for not declaring card-show earnings. I think the same thing happened to Darryl Strawberry. Wesley Snipes didn't even bother to declare any of his income on his return in question.

I would say that Blake may have not filed a return and that the IRS estimated his tax based on his gross earnings, but it's too soon for that to have happened, so he probably filed a return, declared his income, didn't pay, and now he owes.

Ronnie Lynn Douche won't be able to settle for him either. Because he's young and actively (he is, right?) working as an entertainer, he'll have to pay this back in installments. If not, the IRS will issue levies to his bank and his income sources.

The moral of the story is: just because you finally get some pussy, don't let it go to your head and overencumber yourself.
