<p> I realise that Idol does the Judge Drama every year.  If it's not Randy, it's Simon or it's Paula.  </p> <p> Yet I can't help but feel like the stalker they allowed on the set was the next to the last straw for Paula.  Seacrest making more money than her sealed the deal.  I don't blame her for not signing a new contract.  </p>

Right after Paula made that twitter announcement that she had walked away from the bargaining table and AI said see ya, didn't she say that she wanted to try her luck at hosting a talk show? And people were all like, to have a talk show, don't you have to be able to talk like with a certain level of coherence? (ouch) Does that mean the talk show is out? Leaving Idol could work out just fine for Paula if she ends up putting together a Vegas show - the money people get for headlining gigs is insane. That ventriloquist from AGT was initially hired to do 15 shows for $1.5 million dollars, and then they offered him $100 million for 5 years. If Idol was only offering Paula something like $4 million a season, it would seem pretty easy for her to top that in Vegas.

I'm entertained by her effort there! I'm wondering to what degree TPTB limited her on AI. They control everything else, why not give strict direction to the judges? And I agree they were handing her the shitty end of the stick and I hope she has success enough post-Idol to to give'em a Whitney "Kiss my ASS!"

Go and watch her lipping to "straight up"- she falls backward and then manages to catch herself but she almost fell on her ass! someone should make a clip of it, it's too funny!

That was funny. Paula did great! Drama drama and more drama. And now Simon Cowell is leaving as well? What if you were given a chance to vote for Paula or Ellen? Who do you think is a better judge?
