The song is kind of lame, like it's trying way too hard. But it's no better or worse than anything else she's done, so it should do fine.

It sounds like an 80's Pat Benatar song that someone picked out of the trash...and decided to put some country twang in it. I think she ripped off Christina Alguilera's outfit from Moulin Rouge.

You think this song is a poke at Tony Romo?

Wow she couldn't even come up with this garbage herself, it's plagiarized. Just read it on PerezHilton.com

It's Shania 2.0...seriously that song sounds like it came straight off Shania Twain's "Come On Over" album. Did anyone check for a Mutt Lange credit?

Was just about to say that too: Looks like someone finally realized that Shania has been MIA for a good minute and there's a plum country pop diva vacancy to fill. Why didn't she realize it earlier? Too bad since Carnival Ride was actually less poppy than her debut. I usually like Carrie secretly, and while this isn't bad, it's just too over the top and not in a good British way.

They could have at least gotten a hot guy that fit the "cool drink of water" bit.

Wow. You guys nailed it. The shouty-Shania Twain thing, but for added crap-tastic effects, some bizarre 80's-hair-band elements what with the "Whoa-Hoahs" I keep looking for the memebers of "Winger" in the backround.

And if a song about a Redneck Romeo doesnt conjure images of a period-piece-whore-house video.. well it doesnt. Odd. Just odd.

Her music is shit, but she's still a hot tomato. Man, I am so thankful I have a semblance of taste in music. Just imagine-- there are people who actulaly think this is good.
