Total garbage. Allison’s appeal was being the mature 17-year old making grown-up music. This is the complete opposite; teeny-bopper and cookie-cutter. This is crap. Formulated non-sense. I get it, she wants to sell records. Still, I'd expect this lesson in how to be generic from Lil Rounds. Allison can do so much better. If you want proof, listen to her studio recording of "Someone To Watch Over Me". THAT'S what her album SHOULD sound like.

Amen. This song is still better than anything Alaska Nabraska can or did release.

did you read her interview, love her honesty about Idol: Do you think you were able to be yourself on 'Idol'? Not really. It was pretty hard. Being on 'American Idol,' it's very hard to be who you are. You can try, but you're already portrayed as someone else. It's kind of hard to come out as who you really are. But, now people get a chance to know who we are, going to see us on tour and stuff. and How did you deal with all of the criticism laid out on 'Idol'? It's hard to take at first, but people should be prepared before they audition. The whole show of 'Idol' is not about your singing. It's pretty much... it's favoritism. I don't know, but that's pretty much what it is. I like the single...I was not expecting anything rock like, since it is her first single. I think it has a chance to be a hit on the radio. Right now what matters is for her to build her non idol fanbase and this type of music sells. You guys might hate it, but she is appealing to the teens and some of the people that love her rock stuff will be left out.

"But this is obviously going to be better than anything Adam Lambert records." LOL. You couldn't build her up without knocking down her bro? I'm sure Gokey's music will be amazing. Gag. Allison, Kris and all the others are let off every possible thing with every possible excuse because they're not Adam Lambert. Why do some people in this country think it's cool to hate the 'more' popular talent and knock down success? Everything Lambert has done and will do has been and will be analyzed and ripped to death. So fkn lame. What aside from the fact that he was a frontrunner on that glorified karaoke show, has he done to bother you so much again? Did he pimp out his dead husband? When asked who, every single one of these guys said Adam was the one they leaned on anytime they needed support, he was the one that held the group together and looked out for everyone. Allison said he's "fun and BScrazy but so sweet, and so, so supportive." Kris said "Adam is hand on heart one of the most amazing people I've met in my life so far. He's incredible." Kris's bro said Kris and Adam got along best because they are so similar. "They're both loyal, genuine, have a sense of humour and always want the best for everyone around them". Megan said Adam always made her feel beautiful and if you saw that tour bus video of her sobbing, albeit prob tipsy, and not letting him go, you could see he obviously made an impact on her. All the Idols called him a "beautiful", friendly, warm, funny, fun person, even people like Michael. Yet people still judge books by their covers. Even if his music is sh.it, he will never get a break. There are so many absolute sh.it people who have come out of Idol, made sh.it music and got away with it. But some people are still using Adam's name to get hits just to tear him down. EVEN though he's a sassy SWEETHEART. Whatever.

LOL adam tards never cease to amuse me. good stuff... poor Allison. I actually like her too. But this song is just pure poptastic shit. They've completely smothered the gruff rocker edge in her voice and the song sounds like something Miley Cyrus would cut. It's a shame because Allison has an incredible voice (way better than any AI 8 contestant IMO) and this song just does not do her justice. COME ON jive! This is Allison's debut song this is what will introduce her to the world and she sounds no better than the other disney crap we got on the radio. No One needs more of that. I hate people who excuse bad music as being "radio Friendly". Like Kris Allen's new single isn't really bad it's just "radio Friendly". No it's bad and so is this and so will Adam Lambert's first single be. <---- But that I'm looking forward to : D
