Adam Lambert Proves He's The One Ruining His Own Career

After the whole Out Magazine controversy, Adam Lambert decided to dispell the rumor that he's being managed poorly by people who don't want him to do "gay" things (their quote). Turns out, Adam is the moron who is turning his back on a pre-made fan base that probably would have supported him. First, he tweeted a nasty response to Out, then he told Entertainment Weekly even more:

"What people don’t realize is, I am managing my image, more than maybe the editor of OUT magazine likes to give anybody credit for. My team is a team... I’m not being puppeted around. I didn’t want to jump onto a gay magazine as my first thing, because I feel like that’s putting myself in a box and limiting myself... a letter like that, that viewpoint — the letter that Aaron wrote is holding us back. Because it’s recognizing the big difference as opposed to letting us all ignore preference and just be people. So I think in attempt to champion a cause he’s actually taking a big step backwards."

So basically, you're insulting all other gay people by saying you don't want to do anything having to do with your sexuality because you're just so over it? This from the guy who claims to be "edgy" just because he's gay and likes to pose with naked women for no reason. What a douchenozzle. We're still on Team Aaron.

Wow. That is the most offensive thing I think I've read him say.

A letter complaining about/exposing a blatantly offensive action by a record company (which turned out to be Adam's own decision, but no one knew that at the time) is "holding us back"?

How does he think changes get made? By ignoring them?

It'd be nice if people could ignore orientation (or race or gender or religion) and just be people, but for those of us not living in West fucking Hollywood, it's a bit more difficult!

Bring on the cows and their never ending defense for this egotistical douchebag. I have no idea what it means to be gay, never have, never will. These cows, for some unknown reason, think that just because they have their heads up a gay guys ass they know all about it. I see a self-centered, self-serving hypocrital douchebag. As a gay man, shouldn't Out's "agenda" also be his agenda, big picturewise? He's going around biting all the hands that are feeding him, and don't you think eventually, probably sooner than later, there will be no more hands to bite?

He's unbelievable, seriously. What takes some people years of alienating themselves because of their actions and the things they say, this idiot is managing to do it in the span of a few months. It's all so mind blowing, that this idiot is allowed to say what ever comes out of his nasty mouth, and he gets away with it. Nobody else would get away with it.

God, I can't stand him. I don't think I've EVER disliked anyone as intensely as I do him.

^^^ she is way too young to be one of his fans...lol

Madame quote from the L.A. Times;

Quote :
For all his forays into gothic kingdoms and its neighboring fiefdoms of glam-rock, power balladry and rock-god bombast, Lambert has barely scratched the Champagne-fizzy R&;B of some of his peers. Would he ever perform something from the pen of Ne-Yo or Justin Timberlake? “It’s not the style I’m gravitating towards NOW but I might down the road.

hmmm...sounds like he thinking of totally selling out his "Rawk" God image in the future to become the Queen of Pop and completely changing the music genre style his stupid sheeple tard fans voted for.

FRAUD - Sparkle Cows GOT PLAYED.

I guess it is true:

Agreed, Adam is a douchnozzle.

Perhaps he'd like to explain why appearing on a the cover of a gay magazine might be limiting. It didn't limit Nick Carter (1997 XY cover). It hasn't limited the hundreds of straight people who have (confusingly) graced Out's cover over the years.

The person holding gay people back as legitimate entertainers is Adam himself. Here is someone who coyly portrayed himself as peeking outside the closet door for the duration of a reality show, then "came out", but apparently has no opinions on anything gay. Is this guy stupider than Sarah Palin? She's not even gay, but she can tell you what she thinks about gay issues of the day.

Some gay artists who actually have been moving things forward, by being themselves:

Deadlee, Bry'Nt, Last Offence, Drew Mason, Ari Gold (not from Entourage...), Adam Joseph, Captain Magik, Darren Hayes, etc. They don't make their art ambiguous to get a larger market and more cash, and don't take potshots at gay media to score points with conservative fans.

Hmm... nevermind the part about the teams. They really ARE fighting each other. This is linked on the 1st page of Adam's twitter:

No wonder there is so little progress in gay rights - they are too busy arguing with each other. At least we know on which team VFTW officially is, yay.
