If it's half iTunes / half radio then that chart doesn't reflect what the 'public' wants to hear either. The radio half reflects who paid to Clear Channel, nothing else. The only way songs from new artists are played on the radio is payola. You don't really think general public demands to hear songs from artists they've never heard of, do you? And yet there is all kinds of new music played ad nauseum every 1 hr.

Who's management bought some radio play (like all normal producers of new music) and Madam's didn't (cause they are morons). That's why one is in that hot singles chart and the other isn't, since they both suck on iTunes.

The insinuation that payola has something to do with Kris Allen doing well on radio doesn't hold water because everyone knows he's being thrown under the bus by the American Idol machinery, who are more interested in pimping their rock gawd. If these people had spent a sizeable chunk of the promo cash to pay off radio programmers to play Lady Adam's tranny songs, then he'd probably have a Top 20 hit by now. Maybe they tried that already and the programmers refused to take the money. LOL

Ok- I love Adam. Sorry. Yes- his album was mediocre, but he is still just so fun to watch. I was never a fan of Kris', and to be honest, I have never listened to his album. I have seen both Adam and Kris' videos on MTV and Vh1 many times. I don't think it's a competition for either of them, each has a very different fan base. Maybe neither of them will end up being international superstars, but I don't think it matters. I enjoy Adams music, and it doesn't really matter what chart position it holds, as a lot of the songs/albums I really love never even chart.
