As many people have noticed, VFTW was down for a good portion of the day yesterday. The site started having problems Tuesday due to an increased flow of traffic, but then Wednesday the site went down because of an attack. Someone was obviously threatened enough by the site's freedom of speech that they wanted to try to shut us down. Of course it didn't work, and we're back for now. Who would have done such a thing? Could it have been the people behind Idol? We're not sure, but anything is possible. Remember, even if the site is down, keep voting for Sanjaya every week, because we're doing an awesome job and we saved him AGAIN this week. We're like the little engine that could! Also, you can text VFTW to 27563 to get cell phone updates in case of situations like these as well.
We also lost our man Chris Sligh on the show (say it ain't so!), and of course Simon made a patronizing remark on his way out. Well, Chris, you've got fans for life at VFTW, and if there's anything we can do for you, let us know. Make sure to get a hold of us once your contract allows, we'd love to chat with you, you're awesome!
And if some of you haters want to write us a letter saying "Haha, you suck, your site was down", please do. We need more grammatically challenged letters for the mail bag. Thanks in advance!

<p>Welcome back!  I figured the site was down last night because of the overwhelming popularity of this site.  I for one clapped hard when Sanjaya was safe.  Was it just me or did he looked surprised?  Its probably because he forgot his words a bit and figured he would be booted for that.</p><p>But Sanjaya, we can forgive you for that small blunder.  You&;#39;ve got a heart of gold, and that is the true American Idol.  Forget these cookie cutter idols they&;#39;ve had.  I loved Sanjaya from the very first audition (no kidding).  When I saw how much he supported his sister, I thought now that is a great guy.  I&;#39;m really glad we&;#39;re getting him farther because this is a growing experience for him.  Obviously he takes critism and keeps on going.  That&;#39;s a strong person, a confident person, and though he may not have the best voice on stage, he is the best idol.</p><p>We kept him safe!  Lets keep it up!  </p><p>Isabel</p>

I&;#39;m so sad Chris left! And damn Sanjaya is still on the show. As far as I&;#39;m concerned the show is already a joke. I don&;#39;t care how long he is on the show, he is not going to win anyway. Even if the voters actually decided who is going to win, the producers wouldn&;#39;t let sanjaya win anyway.
