<p>Agreed.  Al Gore has shown himself to be a very well spoken politician. Gore probably would have listened to Clinton&;#39;s warnings of Osama Bin Laden and not dismissed the report:  Bin Laden - Determined to attack America.  Before 9-11 Clinton tried to stop Bin Laden.  Three days after Bush took office he was looking for ways to get Iraq.  Where were his priorities?  Clinton stopped domestic terrorist attacks, including one against the San Francisco bridge.  Would Gore have prevented 9-11, we will never know.  I have the distinct feeling though that we wouldn&;#39;t be involved with Iraq right now and our priority would have been with Afghanistan.</p><p> Posters, please stop comparing American Idol voting to political elections.  The latter is far more important and is beyond comparison.  The voting system is also just <em>slightly</em> different in the political world. </p><p>Isabel</p>

IF IT WASN&;#39;T FOR THIS SHOW A LOT OF THOSE KIDS WOULD STILL BE AT HOME NOT NOTICED. THIS WAY THEY GET TO BE ON TV AND HAVE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE SEE THEM AND BECOME POPULAR IN THEIR TOWN. SO DON&;#39;T SAY IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MONEY FOR THE NETWORK, AS THERE IS MORE TO IT. GIVE THE KIDS A BREAK AND LET THEM HAVE FUN THIS IS BETTER THEN THEM OUT THERE ON CRACK OR GETTING INTO TROUBLE.
