Yes, Smartie, much like David Cook taking Billie Jean from Chris Cornell, Adam did a TFF song reworked by Gary Jules... I mentioned TFF because they deserve credit, too for the original. I do hate Adam, so please don't misunderstand. I appreciated that the Jules version was used, instead of the original to make him stand out. And I love Tears for Fears. By the way, there's a clip on youtube of the wrap up from that week...funny as hell. Matt Giraud doing Part Time Lover was the sickest yuk that week. With love and rainbows and napalm

these lyrics seriously sound like a rough draft. For anyone who's ever tried to write a song, the first attempt at lyrics is usually a bit awkward and it doesn't quite wrap around the melody just right. Normally a song writer would refine or even re-write at this point but I think he decided to call it a day instead "I think you can save my liiiife" that one's especially embarassing
