Oh fiddlesticks! We've just been notified via email that Shannon Ann Marie Turner was cut in Hollywood. Thie girl is genius and deserves one more posting of her video. Get yourself to VFTW, pronto, Shannon. We love ya!

Oh man, that sucks. I have been obsessing over this performance looking forward to another Leslie Hunt-type on the show (with facial expressions like JHud, only closed eyes instead of bulging) and instead am left with just this video. If we see her on the show (big if, I'm guessing), at least one judge will claim she's too stagey/made for Broadway so that they can justify cutting her in Hollywood. Watching her keep time on that piano makes me smile. I don't normally approve of abusing a poor upright like that, but she's so clearly into it I can look past it.
