See, this is one of those things I don't get about this site. I love Dave, not dissing him. But I really don't understand these discussion boards. It seems like there is always ONE and only ONE "approved' opinion of someone/something, and everyone has a giant orgy of "approved" comments about this opinion... And then if someone comes along and disagrees with the socially acceptable opinion, he or she is either dismissed, flamed, or branded a fantard or a frau or whatever the hip lingo you kids are using today.

All I was saying in my post is that if you compare Adam to the average joe, he really doesn't look that bad. If you're comparing him to some movie stud like Sam Worthington or Mark Wahlberg or whoever it is the ladies drool over, then yeah, the flamboyantly homosexual pancake makeup face guy is not going to win the beauty contest. But he looks a lot better than most of the men I encounter in my everyday life. Same goes for Kara. When she pulled her silly bikini stunt, immediately the site exploded with Kara hatred because only Kara haters are logical and cool and rainbows and puppies. But I have to say damn, I wish I looked like that in a bikini, especially at age 40 or however old she is.

I have never bought an American Idol winner's album or decorated my car as a shrine to Clay Aiken or made Aperilla-esque videos, but surely because I don't think Adam is less attractive than, say, Danny DeVito or Rosie O'Donnell, I am a fantard and a frau and whatever.

Wow...that video was something else...was that from his coming out party, or his going in party? And, regarding the older, dyed - blonde...what was carolb doing there? She really is the biggest Adam fan around! She's got the bird's eye view of all that is Madame!
