I have just made it to your website for the first and probably last time. I just wanted to voice MY opinion like you so loudly exclaim is a constitutional right for everyone. I think that when our founding fathers were making these rights into law they had faith that we would use our rights to better our lives and the lives of others, NOT ABUSE THEM!! What your site is doing is ABUSING the rights that so many people died to protect!! You all should be ashamed of yourselves and should use your popularity to do some good, instead of making a mockery of someone elses rights!! American Idol along with everyone else, has the right to make a living for themselves and their family. What you are doing is going to end up costing alot of people their lively hood!! There are many people besides Simon, Paula and Randy that rely on American Idol to send their children to school or take care of their elderly parents!!

As for the voting process..... we as Americans need to do the right thing and VOTE!!! Both in this forum and more importantly for our next President and also at the local levels!! You have NO RIGHT to complain about this voting problem or any problem our country faces if YOU DON'T GET OUT AND VOTE!!

I have confidence in the American people that the RIGHT person will win in the end. All of this other stuff is just CRAP!!

Face it Sanjaya is going to win this thing. Which I think he truly deserves to win. He stands out over any of the other contestants on the program, because he is different. I think there are more people who like him than dislike him, but you have your opinion. But no matter what happens, even if he doesn't win, Sanjaya will more than likely not go away, he's become too popular. He will get a deal regardless. Look at Daughtry, he sold more albums than the actual winner did. The show has already lost credabillity with contestants that didn't win, outselling the actual winner in record sales.

Face it American Idol has been on 6 years now, it may have ran out of gas. Nothing lasts forever on TV, it gets cancelled eventually.

At least we are rid of Stephanie Edwards, Sundance Head and Chris Sligh. Probably Haley or Jordan should be packing soon, if not this week, because they are weak. I actually can't remember anything they have sang. But if any of these girls sing a Kelly Clarkston song, consider them gone. And that is an Idol given and fact girl.

Wow, I honestly can't believe this many people are so furious over a t.v. show. People saying their gonna kill someone over some stupid t.v. show makes no sense to me. I don't understand why it matters so much really. I'm sure there are sites out there encouraging people to vote for the other people, so why can't this guy have one too? Doesn't really matter what a website tells you, your gonna vote for whoever you want anyways. So, if they want to vote for him isn't that their right to? Personally I think american idol is stupid and boring. But, still if I did love it, I really don't believe I'd want to kill someone over it....Sad when a t.v. show takes up this much importance in your life. There are alot more important issues in the world than if some guy is winning on american idol. Who gives a crap who wins...most of them don't amount to much anyways. I think I WILL buy Sanjaya's CD after all this hate mail. These haters are idiots. Most of their emails require the standard reply, "I know you are but what am I?!?!" Don't they know that those emails only make us stronger...and happier from laughing so hard! Besides, Sanjaya is growing on me. If you listen to him sing, he's actually pretty good. I just downloaded the two songs from Idol that he did and am listening to them non-stop originally to piss-off my co-workers but now, they are growing on me. Does Idol keep track of which songs are downloaded the most? I bet they do! I think we should all get them! They're only 99¢ each and it's for a good cause. Go Sanjaya!

1) Adults ARE stupid. All of us.

IF such a lawsuit were to go forward, think of the possible repercussions this legal action would have. If a company was engaged in business practices you did not approve of, say Walmart kept their employees captive, or made them do extra work off the clock.....(as if WALMART would EVER do that) and you decided to take a stand and boycott them, started a website voicing your belief, rallying the masses to do the same, TV and Radio personalities jumped on that wagon too....all of these actions are now under fire. Voicing your opinion is probably the most important freedom (and I think this site has proved it beautifully. Now if we could only do the same with the govenment.)As much as I despise people who use their freedom to voice hatred for others, I will not allow that freedom to be taken away. 1. American Idol has been a joke from the start. Think about it - They actually let Sanjaya on in the first place. There was likely someone more talented that they rejected.

2. To be like Hitler? Sounds propagandist to me. VOTE FOR THE WORST IS KILLING JEWS! DO NOT VOTE FOR SANJAYA! Maybe it's not what you intended, but it can come off that way.

3. There are many factors keeping Sanjaya on. This website as a whole is a minor reason. You have people that like Sanjaya, teenyboppers who have no taste in music anyways, and Indians (not the Native American Indians) voting because Sanjaya is the only Indian on American Idol right now.

4. Many adults are stupid. Some commonly known examples: Our President, a good majority of college students, CEO's (although their stupidity is usually derived from a lack of ethics rather than a lack of intelligence). Even as a 22 year old who is academically focused (5 years, 1 major w/2 minors) and is guaranteed a decent job after college, I still find that many adults have their heads up their asses (with lack of a better phrasing). I could give this woman plenty of examples.

5. It's never been about talent alone. You want to hear someone who can't sing, and uses mostly the same rhythm for his songs: Wesley Willis. Talent is fairly unimportant once someone gains the notoriety. Perfect example of a talentless hack: Kevin Federline. Another way of looking at it is that you only have to make people THINK you have talent, and if you can do that, you don't need real talent.

Overall, this woman's kids sound more intelligent than her.
