Adam Lambert - "If I Had You" on Oprah

The Adam Lambert career trajectory is even funnier than we thought it could be. His performance on Oprah is one of the worst yet: chock full of cheesy faces, bad singing, and pathetic moves. And he's already moving onto his fourth single, "If I Had You", since the others have all failed so miserably. Queerty asks the question, Why Is Adam Lambert Suddenly an Unimpressive Singer? Nothing has changed, you're just finally noticing it. Only the Sparkle Cows still believe this guy can have a career.

So 3rd try wasn't the charm huh?

How soon before the label drops him? I predict June 2010.

Why are there 3 guitar players in the background?

"Like Carrie Underwood, Lambert delivered; unlike Carrie, he did so while cultivating a multi-dimensional character."

LOL. Even Idol fans notice Farmbot's mechanical tendencies!

Bottom line, HE IS A GIMMICK. Like Northern Kings, he does interesting covers of songs. Unlike Northern Kings, he can't write or perform original material. Lambert's failure shows the massive difference between the standards of Idol and the standards of the actual music industry. If Idol was a real test of musical talent -- which is obviously isn't -- it would have the final 12 write their own song and have the final two perform it at the finale. Of course, this would create unpredictability, which is Simon Fuller's kryptonite.

By the way, here are some comment from the Sparkle Cows on the article.

"For goodness sake! You call yourself a fan?! Adam needs every bit of support, and this is what you choose to write about him on a show that has not even aired yet?!Yours are the actions of an opportunist and nothing more. No wonder Adam wants nothing to do with the likes of people like you. YOU DO EAT YOUR YOUNG!!! YOU ARE DISGUSTING!!! GET USE TO IT… ADAM IS THE NEW KING OF MUSIC!!! I am so glad most people don't agree with your point of view. He is amazing… he is extraordinary… his first offering is more than spectacular and will lead him laughing all the way to the bank and super stardom. HOW ABOUT YOU?!"

"UGLY PEOPLE ON THIS SITE – GO TAKE YOUR MEDS – STAT

or are you just little people..12 maybe 13..surely can't be adults..

Lambert is here for the long haul, you want to see dwindle..let me spell out this dork KRIS ALLEN, there is the most boring piece of whatever that came out of Idol.

a word to the writer if thats what you want to call them of this ridiculous article..you are a MINORITY…won't be back to visit this lame site.."

Commence your pointing and laughing.

Wow, I'm really starting to feel like a worster now.

As I am presently eating my lunch, I'm not even going to bother watching the clip.

Jesus Christ, the song was so obviously written for a female singer. Who rejected this one? Since the last one was Pink, I'm thinking Rihanna's the one who said, "no" this time, and it was then hand-delivered to Madam. For him to poop on.

I have never seen anyone release 4 so terrible-performing singles in a row so quickly. Britney did it back in the day, but they released the new ones to capitalize on the SUCCESS of the old ones. Same thing with Taylor Swift (whether you like her or not, at least she's successful). Adam keeps churning out singles, just to hide the last one.

I predict him dropped from the label in May 2010, just as the crowning of this year's Idol takes the headlines.

I guess RCA thinks that if it throws enough cow patties at the wall, something is bound to stick. But in this case, it just stinks up the place.

Yeah, I think it's time he pranced back to musical theater. He is just terrible, and his hair looks like it's plastic. LOL at the crazy grandmas. That's the funniest thing of all, that his fans are all horny old hags.

Yes, clearly they're children at Queerty. Only a mature adult, well over 12 or 13, would resort to calling someone a dork in a comment. Especially a person who has nothing to do with the article whatsoever.
