Well, you forced me to listen to the video, which I really didn't want to. I spent the entire season last year after a few of Adam performances, to use the "mute" button until after he was done. The only performance I liked of his was "Mad World" but sometime after that, I did resort to the mute button. Mad World didn't sound anything different than the original so he didn't add to it or change it up, so karaoke. Adam clearly does best on doing covers IF you are into him but how original really is he? Nothing in this performance would give the "wow" factor either.

He wrote 4 songs which RCA only put on the bonus CD, clearly not wanting to chance it on the regular CD. He isn't a writer/musician either. His performances weight heavily on the "act" the "show" the costumes, make-up, etc.

I really think he looks very artificial. The hair looks plastic at times &; close ups of his face, particularly in HD tells a different story. I am sure that RCA is instructing these producers to not go to close because they clearly have seen the negative comments about the pot holes &; all the makeup he uses to cover it up. I tell you, you know your pimply past &; no matter how hard you try to hide it, it's like you've only succeeded to put a spotlight on it.

This was unimpressive. Really. It's almost like a simi-disco song. There were no "high" notes (thank god) because it's really screaming which seems to impress his fans as they call that fantastic. This didn't make him stand out as a performer &; frankly, he looked awkward there trying to do a little "dance" steps in place &; the facial expressions, which still makes be want to close my eyes.

I cannot believe that RCA has now released 4 singles off that album in such a short period of time. Sure that's been done before BUT only when the preceeding singles were incredible sellers &; since the industry is now facing the stark reality that if you can't sell CDs, then they have to settle for hit singles. He hasn't produced any hit singles whatsoever, so they are hoping that they continue to put out singles to get something to "stick." This isn't going to be a hit single in my opinion.

I don't see radio picking this up at all, certainly if they haven't embraced any of the other singles to a big degree either &; even if they did, it takes a long time for radio to put another single from the same artist even in their play list - even when those artists are selling like hot cakes.

I predict that Adam will put out an EP next, which is what usually happens when either an album didn't quite take off or singles didn't take off. RCA will give him one more shot just so that they can get back some of the money they invested on him, which is probably staggering. However, it's like owning a boat, it's a hole you throw dollars into.

My question is to anyone here. Is Adam going on tour? I haven't heard about anything yet so I was wondering. I don't mean the gigs here &; there, a fina-bide scheduled tour. No doubt it will be restricted to 18 years &; over.

^ probably 21 and over, since anyone attending would surely need to get blackout drunk during it to forget.
