Was One of the Top 24 Contestants Disqualified Already?

Joe's Place is reporting that American Idol 9 Top 24 contestant Michael Lynche may have been disqualified after his dad leaked a spoiler to the news. In an article, Marque Sr, confirmed that Michael made the top 24. Now rumors are surfacing that Michael was disqualified and some guy named Antwan Michael was brought in to take his place. Antwan (video above) seems a little strange and can't seem to sing on key, so this might be a good thing for us. We shall see.

Antwan is dreadful. He's got VFTW written all over him.

Lynche's dad's little gaffe might have cost his kid a million bucks. Smooth move. That will make for awkward family gatherings. "Hey, dad, remember the time..."

I think Lynche got DQ'ed for far worse than what Daddy said. I think he leaked backstage secrets beyond his Idol inclusion. They won't sue him because of who his mother is.

I don't know who Lynche's mother is but I see he is currently signed to an indepent record label so that could have something to do with it also.

I actually liked his style and thought he would be an interesting addition this year...kinda bummed he's out...Think Aaron is going to be a VFTW worthy pick...he sings Carrie Underwood tunes...at 16...badly

Who his mother *was*. Looks like she passed away sometime before 2006. She was a columnist for a St. Pete newspaper. How is that relevant to idol? His brother was a contestant in 2004.
