I love that the rebuttal is "lots of people like him!" and "he stayed up really late!"

If he DID win this season, wouldn't that be a disaster for the show?

What none of Todrick's friends have explained is why a second show called Cinderella Rock had the same money disappearing action. I could possibly understand getting into something bad and not realizing it, but twice? Until someone can explain that, I'm thinking this guy was in it on it somehow.

To Viper and Patycake

Usually, I try to be the Worster with the "smiley" face on these boards. But, with the stuff dug up on Todrick, I can only say UP YOURS! You provide not one scintilla of any rebuttals of evidence to back up your claims. Yet, you want us to believe only in your good word? You are really fucking delusional if you think we will stand here and take you at your good word. Personally, you are probably relatives in on the fucking con. So, since you are fucking desperate for more dough, go to Wal-Mart and buy some for that is all the dough you are gonna get.

You know, people like Todrick make me sick. He makes jobs harder for street promoters like myself. We haul ass to try to push the next big thing, and then an asshole like this pops up to steal from children, while making promises that he knows will not be kept. Don't give me the BS that "money did not come in 3 days before the performance." That's pure horseshit. Credible acts know MONTHS in advance if they will have the money for a tour or event. Broadway and Off-Broadway productions has financing secured a YEAR before previews in most cases. So, what is your excuse? Plain and simple, Todrick is a bigger scumbag than Milwaukee Metalfest promoter Jack Koshick ever was. At least when Koshick charged new bands $1000 for a 20 minute set, at least they got to play for 10 minutes on eighth-hand gear, with fucked up sound and zero promotion. Those that paid Todrick did not even get that!

Simply put, your "remarkable human being" is a lowlife who should have his balls cut off and rammed down his throat.

My apologies to my fellow Worsters for the rant.

I also love that the only real rebuttal is "but I like him!" Hey folks, in the face of all the EVIDENCE and the PATTERN of collecting money and then canceling shows, maybe you should consider that the phrase "there's a fool born every minute" applies to you. He's charismatic and he clearly knows how to look people in the eyes and very convincingly explain that he was just as much a victim as everyone else.

What is also clear from the rebuttals, is Todrick Hall has told a slightly different story to each person. Go back and listen to what he said to the Nashville tv station and then go back and read some of the news articles where he's quoted. He never says that he didn't know money was taken from the kids. In fact, he says the reason for the cancellation was the fact that NOT ENOUGH kids ante'd up to fund the shows.

Think about it. Kids auditioned for the privilege of PAYING to be in the show. They weren't doing it for free. They weren't being paid. They were paying Todrick Hall to let them have a job. Bizarre.

Todrick Hall was also at some of these auditions. If he didn't know about the fee, then who collected the $ from parents? And if he didn't know about the fee, why have others defending him stated that he knew about the fees but disagreed with the idea? There are a million contradictions here because Todrick Hall has told different stories to different people, who are now stepping on each others stories in their rush to defend this "kind soul."

ETA: I did locate a Greg Money in Colleyville, Tx (near Ft Worth):

Greg Money (817) 685-xxxx 3901 Buckingham Pl, Colleyville, TX 76034

Greg Money (817) 267-xxxx 3901 Buckingham Pl, Colleyville, TX 76034

Is this the guy some of you claim stole all the money from those kids? If so, and he's so easy to find, why didn't Todrick point the parents in the right direction so they could look at some sort of group small claims suit against him?

Or is this guy just a patsy being smeared to help out Hall?

Where is this mysterious "Mr. Money"? Who runs Magic Money productions? Why start another failed musical after the one had the same problems? Usually you learn from your first mistake and try to keep better records. Why didn't Todrick to that?

Just updated the article with 1) more information about Mr. Money and 2) a link where Todrick touts himself as the producer of Cinderella Rock, but then blames the failure on a producer (not him).

I felt slightly bad for the guy at first, but as the details come out, I'm really thinking scammer.

"While it was hoped the show would break even, it was never intended to be a “for profit” operation."

Then why did it have investors? Investors expect a return.

"The play is not plagiarized and I would be more than happy to prove it to anyone that thinks it is."

Please do. I think it was plagiarized.

"Many of the people that previously paid for Oz had the chance to perform for free at this tour."

How was it "perform for free"? You admit they had already paid.

"Study your facts better next time."

Provide us with some actual facts and we'll do our best to study them.

"How many people who write and direct plays without investors do you know? I'm sure 0."

How many people invest in plays knowing there will be no return on investment? I'm sure 0.

What does a scammer do when the money runs out? Look for a new scam. Only this one's real easy. The tards and frauen willingly give away their families cash to a stranger. Within the AI universe, it is normal and he won't even have to ask for it.

What I do not get is why would a guy who runs a Private Investigations firm be involved in a scam like this? Christ, Greg Money is a gumshoe! Would he not know the law regarding something like this? Or, was Money's name just used in the scam? Identity theft could very well have happened in Mr. Money's case. Which means Todrick is a complete criminal and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Enjoy 10 years with Bubba, bitch.
