That's not a low budget video, that's a no budget video. They clearly couldn't afford lightbulbs that work, and at 1:00 you can see his breath...when he's inside...so no heat either. For those of you who do not want to sit through it (even on mute like I did), check out his attempt at a sexy pose at 2:58. It's very funny.

I watched the whole thing so I could say I had and not be accused of bashing Gorky for no reason. It's worth enduring - there are an embarrassment of riches here for DWD haters - handwritten, trite notes of chicken crap for the soul, endless smug looks from the singer, horrid lyrics about birthdays and age just being a number. Warning though - when DWD tries to look sexy he makes you feel dirty. Not good, hot dirty either but bad, getting feeled up in subway but homeless, smelly drunk dirty.

His voice is terrible for country. Period. And since country music videos are usually low-budget (unless your name is Taylor, Faith, Carrie, Tim, Kenny, Keith or Brad), this one is even worse. FAIL!

Goodness, he's looking handsome as ever. And his vocals sound great. I thought the "watered-down" kind of mood worked well for the song, therefore I'm not complaining. Also, morons, it's *supposed* to be a little dim since Danny is singing about his future mixed in with his loss, his own struggles that have granted him hardship yet at the same time given him strength to carry on. Instead of dwelling in the past, he is moving on with his life, so how is this trashing Sophia in any way, shape, or form?

Anyone read the comments on this song on YouTube? One fan had this to say: "I listened to this song for the first time last night and it was stuck in my head today...guess that just proves how amazing the song is  " How on earth could this song stick in anyone's head? It is utterly forgettable. That said, if it did stick in my head I would probably stick a knife in after it to end my misery. Oh, and the fist pump at 2:47 gets my vote for douche-iest moment of the vid.
