I appreciate that you guys at VFTW.com dont think you can be sued for this, but the fact is that is just not true. The lawyer that spoke on the O'reily Factor was absolutely correct in saying that this is an actionable offense. I'm sure you'll find out soon enough when you get served with a lawsuit from Sidney Austin LLP that what you're doing is blatently tortious interference. Tortious interference, in the common law of tort, occurs when a person intentionally damages the plaintiff's contractual or other business relationships. This tort is broadly divided into two categories, one specific to contractual relationships (irrespective of whether they involve business), and the other specific to business relationships or activities (irrespective of whether they involve a contract). Tortious interference with business relationships occurs where the tortfeasor acts to prevent the plaintiff from successfully establishing or maintaining business relationships. If you guys still think that a lawsuit is unsubstantiated, you're completely out of your mind. You should go ahead and get your lawyer ready for the fight of a lifetime, because I'm sure you're well aware that FOX is not going to let you destroy what is by far their best rated show. I'm all for free speech, but it is true that free speech has its limitations, and interfering with a profitable business is not protected under the first amendment. Enjoy the lawsuit and the costs associated with that -- I'm looking forward to watching this site get a temporary injunction enforced against it -- if nothing more than for a week until Sanjaya is gone.

Listen up everyone, I just have to say how much I LOVE this website. Never before have I seen so many people go so crazy or misspell so may words than I do on this site! As someone who works in the record industry in Los Angeles I can tell you that not only is VFTW a huge hit, but it has added such a new layer to AI that Simon and Co. should be paying you for such a great concept. I mean how many new viewers watch the show just to see who sucks the
most? The show is alot more fun now with VFTW than ever before. And for you crying kids, VFTW does NOT smash anyone's dreams or careers. These finalists are all set if they play their cards right. If they are as good as Doolittle they will have a record deal regardless of where they fall in this show. All the complainers and naysayer have to do is look at a certain Jennifer Hudson to see that winning the show is meaningless, or Daughtry. My final note to all who do not love this site is simple, VFTW did NOT put Sanjaya through to Hollywood or keep in after the L.A. trials..that was the producers..I mean the judges who KNEW he would make for good television. After watching American Idol with my children I couldn't help wondering how in the hell Sanjaya is still around. I had heard rumors of your site and had to check it out. I cannot help but be amused by the hypocrisy of it all. After watching the first couple weeks of this season's AI shows, starting with the top 24, I thought to myself: this is kind of boring; I don't think I'll watch this season. Then my son reminded me of your site, and since then I haven't missed a show; I even watch the results shows now, something I never used to do. Of course, being on the left coast I already know the outcome by the time the results are broadcast in California, so there's no suspense involved. I haven't had such fun with a TV show in years. Contrary to the opinions of many contributors to your mail bag I believe your site provides a valuable public service to folks in America and all around the world. In recent years research has been conducted showing that laughter is good for us: it helps to strengthen the immune system, reduce food cravings, it helps us to heal faster and to reduce stress. Your site, particularly the mail bag updates, is an important part of my own personal humor therapy regimen: I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Who knows? You may even be eligible for a government grant with all the good work you're doing. Keep the faith. Let's take Sanjaya to the finals.

My definition of a terrorist is an individual or group that purposely ruins innocent lives because of their so-called beliefs. Yes, Am Idol is wrong for turning away good talent just to put very stupid people on the screen for ratings. However, they can't see everyone in that amount of time. And that would be way too many tickets to Hollywood. People do watch the auditions with the anticipation of people making fools of themselves. It is about the American people coming home from a long day's work and sitting back to enjoy a show without violence, sex, or drugs (unless there is a scandal). It is about the dreams of some young adults trying to make a life for themselves using the talent they have. Yes, not everyone was able to audition, but those that did and have made it this far have the right to a fare shot. I think this is actually an awesome site! I teach 2nd grade and I have kids who truly believe that it is easy to get into the music industry, via American Idol. Folks, this has gone on long enough. You all may think you are being funny, but you really are doing Sanjaya a disservice by doing this. You are right, the first episodes are set up to let people revel in bad singing, and correct, it makes for good tv. However, now there are a lot of us out there voting for good singers, and the show has made a lot of good singers. All of the winners have gone on to success. But the people you have voting that read this website are not going to buy Sanjaya's album. You are setting him up for utter failure because his album that he makes will fall flat, and you all will be to blame. I've been a World Series of Karaoke fan since Season 2. Now, mind you, I was 11 at the time, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Around WSoK 2006 and Hicks's ultimate victory over Pickler, however, I started to get sick of it, to the point, in fact, that I stopped viewing the show altogether. Then Sanjaya came along. Thanks to Sanjaya, I now have a new addiction to World Series of Karaoke now, maybe even stronger than the last few years. His inability to sing, his girlishness, and, maybe most of all, Crying Girl, has made the show more amazing than any other season before it. Even before I discovered Vote For The Worst, I put all my effort into voting for Sanjaya as many times as my hands would allow (punching

I just have to say this whole idea is absolutely brilliant. I never felt the need to watch American Idol (other then the auditions of course) but may now have to start.
