This is America and the men in my family did fight for the right to have this “Bad Sportsmanship” site up and running. However, here is the sad part, what did Sanjaya do to you? How do you think this will look on his College applications? Who are you to be the main judge of this young mans future just because you didn’t make it passed the producers! I can not take the ear rape that is Sanjaya anymore. I understand that you think it's hilarious to promote voting for the worst person. Stick it to the man! and that sort of thing. However....I CAN NOT TAKE HIS CRAPPY SINGING ANYMORE!! I seriously can not take it. People who can actually sing are getting sent home while someone that looks like a cockatoo and sounds like a dying cow that is whispering gets to stay. As if it wasn't excruciating enough to listen to this kid and see him get that weird look on his face when he realized he had somehow managed to advance, NOW we have to deal with him being cocky. Now we have to be subjected to seeing him perform and mean to sound like an idiot because he knows he isn't going anywhere. For the love of all things holy....YOU MUST STOP THIS CAMPAIGN! He makes my baby cry. He makes me throw up in my mouth a little. I think some lady is going to die because she is starving herself until he gets voted off. At first I thought VFTW website was just wrong and that the creator was crazy. But since Sanjaya is still staying each week, I think everyone should help and make him win. Here is my reasoning... let him get stuck with the American Idol Contract, it hasn't made anyone a super star. Kelly Clarkson didn't make it big until she was out of that contract. What has it done for any of the winners! The people that didn't win American Idol are the successful ones - Jennifer Hudson, Clay Aiken, etc. So voting for Sanjaya will only benefit the Divas Melinda and LaKisha

As a teacher in a public middle school, I would like to express my appreciation for the enthusiasm you are creating among young people to become more aware of current events in the world. So many of my students were unaware of anything past video games and cell phones that many of us adults were wondering if we would ever get them to connect to informative sites on the Internet and to listen to news broadcasts on the media. Your support of Sanjaya Malakar has inspired so much discussion that I am considering developing a math unit based on the effect of the Internet on the probability of Sanjaya taking first place on American Idol. In addition, I am enjoying my drive to school every morning much more as I listen to the disk jockeys debate the current circumstances involving Sanjaya. I laugh more frequently while I drive, especially when the radio hosts ask questions such as "Is India trying to take over Americafirst through convenience stores and laundrymats and now through American Idol?" When the WZYP radio speaker announced that Simon had threatened to quit if Sanjaya wins, I almost called in to inquire sarcastically, "Simon Who? Who is this Simon guy?" YouTube fortunately has many of Sanjaya's videos available. Since I have not ever watched American Idol, this has been an excellent source of data to help me decide if I like Sanjaya and would like to support him. He may not have the kind of singing/theatrical ability that American Idol demands, but he has an appeal that far exceeds that of most other performers. He reminds me very much of a young Johnny Depp, with much more memorable facial features. Sanjaya is a cute kid who, I believe, is completely amazed at these miracles that are happening in his life. Your site, votefortheworst.com, has been the main catalyst for these miracles. Your site is the connection that brought Sanjaya to my attention. Thank you so very, very much! Please continue supporting him!!!

So, I'm an English education major, and I just have to tell you that the amount of grammar mistakes in these emails never fail to make me laugh. The best part is that all of you who write in to complain and show how intelligent you are, and you're trying to prove that AI is really a reality show. I find it incredibly ironic that in trying to prove us all wrong, you're making yourselves look like ignorant, blubbering idiots. My personal opinion of you opposers is that you've never had anyone tell you that you were wrong before, and you can't bare to see your precious television show taken away. These people are talented, sure, but they're not going to have billion dollar record deals. From the previous seasons, American Idol has had two successful outcomes: Kelly Clarkson, the original and true American Idol, and Carrie Underwood. I have heard nothing of any other contestants. They get their fifteen minutes of fame onstage every week, which is more fame then ninety percent of the more talented singers in this country. What VFTW is doing may be 'wrong' in your eyes, but last I checked, it was a television show to have people vote for who they WANT to vote for. People have their groups of people voting for Jordin and other groups voting for other people. Is it so wrong to have a support group for Sanjaya? The only reason you think he's going to be upset is because all of you are on here, saying that he sucks. He may not have the greatest singing voice, but at least he's cutie with a passion. So, go Sanjaya. This site is the greatest thing I've ever seen.

Most comical of all are the appallingly spelled missives from American Idol fans who feel you are ruining the chances of the most deserving contestants. It's hard to tell whether this apparent dyslexia is a result of furious, fast-typing - the words obscured by the tears of rage that spurt from their eyes - or whether the sort of people that get so angry about a television programme are just too stupid to learn their spellings.
Of course, they could actually be dyslexic, in which case, I feel a little bad. But not enough to stop taking the mickey.
Personally, I feel that if thousands of professional musicians the world over have managed the first faltering steps towards achieving their dreams without the aid of a vote-based show which relies on the inconstant affections of a broadly tone-deaf and image-obsessed society, maybe the numpties on American Idol could manage it for themselves as well. If they really deserve the attention of the world, they should get on and work for it through normal channels. Votefortheworst is teaching them a valuable lesson in perseverance. And humility. They should be grateful. America should be grateful!

This is to everyone that keeps posting on the mailbag page. Your giving these guys exactly what they want. They want to piss you off. They could care less about the competition they just want to make everyone mad. You know who these guys are right? These are the same guys that in the first grade told everyone that there is NO Santa Claus. They just like to ruin things that other people enjoy. The best thing to do to people like this is ignore them. They will go away especially if they don't get the attention that they want. Think about this, what was the first thing that you did when you heard about this site, the same thing that I did. We all typed it in the address bar. What did that do? That gave them the attention that they wanted. So, I say again leave them alone and let them live their pitiful little lives. They really have no other interests or hobbies but this. They will one day grow up (maybe) and have someone take away something that enjoy. It will always come back around!
