What I remember most about Chikezie, is the way he made it into the Top 12. They were still in the Semi Final Stage, and Chikezie was not supposed to make the Top 12, unless he had an amazing performance. I remember the performance. He chose Lionel Richie's Song - Easy like Sunday Morning. But Chikezie changed the Lyrics to "Its Chikezie like a Sunday Morning, thats why its Chikezie". I remember when the song was over he got a standing ovation from the Judges, and Simon told him you just earned yourself a Spot in the Top 12, with that one. You have to give him props for that. If he didnt choose that song and make it his own, he would have never made it in the Top 12, and would probably just have faded away.

No, actually, the song was "I Believe To My Soul". He didn't sing Lionel Richie at any point during the show. David Cook is the one who sang "Hello" and changed it up. And the song is simply called "Easy".

I'm almost positive Chikezie performed Lionel Richie's "Easy" on one of his performances and he substituted Chikezie for Easy throughout the song. I remember the judges applauded him for changing the song and making it his own. I'm positive he did this because thats the only reason why I remember him.

'American Idol's' Chikezie Busted. TMZ is reporting a sales person at Neiman Marcus remembered him because the singer was busted last night for felony identity theft ... law enforcement sources tell TMZ. Chikezie Eze was at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills when he allegedly tried to use "fraudulent means" -- possibly a phony check or credit card -- to purchase merchandise.Chikezie was detained by store security until the Beverly Hills cops arrived. The singer was then taken to Bev Hills jail and booked on felony identity theft.He is currently in jail, where he's being held on $50,000 bail.
