I hope you know what you're doing. THIS IS HORRIBLE!!! Thanks to you, Simon said if Sanjaya wins he'll shut down the show. AND THAT'S BAD! But at the same time good because if American Idol is shut down you won't have a reason to have this site. YOUR RUINING AMERICAN IDOL FOR EVERY1!! There's another good thing though. I dont really see what is so bad about American Idol? It would actually be a real singing competition if you guys didnt vote for the worst all the time. It is kind of not your business; if people like the show then let them watch it. Don't vote for people that dont even have talent. Your site says: " This isn't a singing competition! It's so dumb! Vote for the worst singers!" Well, i think that your site should be called MakeItTheWorst. Because you just make it so much worse by voting for the worst singers. Its pretty much a waste of time. You like cetain shows and other people like certain shows. How would you like it if someone messed up YOUR favorite show. I think what your doing is really immature and stupid. I really don’t agree with you, mainly because American Idol IS A SINGING COMPETITION. The producers are mysterious, but I see that you have no proof that they are using this show for commercial entertainment and
money purposes. And what about Melinda Doolittle? She is one of the best singers that I have ever heard, and she is still in the competition. On your website you stated, “…good people are turned away…” And the 23 year-old, J was not eating on her hunger strike. It is very possible to live 2.5 weeks without food as long as you drink water and keep hydrated. I’m not saying that you aren’t allowed to do this, for you are, but it’s morally wrong to print false information and for you to ruin the show for others. Many people, like me, like voting for the best and enjoy watching their careers as artists unfold. You may have motivated me to start watching "Idiot" for the first time of my life. This is genius. I am so sick of hearing about "Idiot" and have always thought that "Idiot" was the worst exemplification of American culture ever. It is pathetic when more people vote and get passionate about some glorified karaoke show than they do about their own country's politics. That being said, I can't wait to watch my first Sanjaya performance and vote for him. Grassroots campaigning at its best. I can't wait to spread this site to my fellow anti-"Idiots". Fight the "Idiot" power.

All right you guys have had your fun. But now you need to put a stop to it. In Sanjaya's case good singers are getting kicked off before him. This is rediculous. Seriously please stop this. It is his time to go. Do you not have anything better to do. This is a great show and you guys are ruining it. How about letting someone who is actually good this year win. Come on do the right thing. Let the American people vote without trying to add scandal. This is not fair to the other contestants.

I know that it makes your angry that certain people get on the show and others don't.. but this is wrong.. I have been watching this show with my mom for a long time, I know it may sound redicoulous.. but this show has become very important to me.. I am really into music.. and I enjoy it.. Im asking you this because I really hate to see Sanjaya go on..Also.. I don't think its fair for the other contestantss. who have great voices.. they have to work hard and try too, and you are just ruining this for the resst of them. I know that alot of good people dont get chosen.. but there are a lot of things people dont get chosen for GROW UP AND DEAL WITH IT. Not only are you taking the enjoyment out of the show, but you are making it sound like your just doing this because its funny, well now that you've recieved so much hate mail, i think you should realize.. ITS NOT FUNNY, and it never was. I think you are ruining someones chance to make it big.. I know it doesnt matter because even though Chris didnt win last year.. he still went big.. but that didn happen with the other people that should have won. Its pretty sad that the only way American Idol can be affected is by a little pervert like Howard Stern. If howard stern someone who calls himself a man gets pleasure from trying to prevent an actual singer from obtaining their goal then so be it. However howard stern is scum and he will not succeed at destructing American Idol. I believe that howard is jealous because his rediculous radio show could not succeed on television so he is now attacking the best show on television. All i can say is you reap what you sow. Howard will one day get paid back for trying to ruin this show. I would love for all of america to be able to laugh in your face when you end up with nothing. Howard is scum nothing but scum and will always be scum. Vote for the Worst is the worst website on the net today. Its setup is ignorant just like the people who brought it into exsistance. I just wanted to thank you guys for making American Idol so much more fun this year. It's fun to read all the rants from everyone and hearing them blaming you for everything that's wrong in the world. These are probably the same people who sat at home all day during the elections, then wondered why the person they wanted to win didn't. If they don't want Sanjaya to win, then vote for someone else. There is nothing different between this site and a fan site for any of the singers on Idol. Get over it people, and go vote if you're not happy with what's going on. There's no one to blame here, except the people who aren't voting for Blake, Gina, Lakisha, etc. every week.

I love VFTW! I have always despised AI and your site is an excellent way to have some fun with those who seem obsessed with AI. I look forward to reading you mailbag everyday, it amazes me how some people can equate VFTW with Hitler, child molestation and the KKK! Love the spelling mistakes also; it just proves that the people who are pro-AI are not exactly intelligent human beings. Keep up the good work, I enjoy my daily laughs!!

He's my cousin's kid, and he is an absolute sweetheart. Maybe you should do some research into him. He sings with the Total Experience Gospel Choir, and he toured the Gulf Coast area to give hope and raise money for those who were affected by Hurricane Katrina. How many other 17 year olds are out there making that kind of effort. He may not have the greatest stage presence, but he has a lovely voice and he doesn't have a mean bone in his body. So if you're upset that he's made it this far, maybe you should look into your heart and examine why your bitchy ass self can't figure this out.

hi! I was at the Austin auditions with my mom last year. I would like to thank you for writing this article about the auditions. it's very upsetting to go back home and try to get everyone to believe you that everything on the show is just a fake, only to have people look at you and think that it's just sour grapes. my mom and i keep on trying to get people to understand the truth about american idol, but TV is so convincing that people will always doubt what you have to say about the behind the scenes. we couldn't understand why no one has come out with the truth about it all, and we were so happy to find this site.
about the Austin audition - we think that american idol had no intention of taking anyone from Austin to begin with. a security guard at the stadium who started talking to me told me that he wishes me the best, but that something weird is going on, because the judges (randy, simon and paula) aren't going to be coming. Katrina wasn't even a threat yet, the Memphis audition was 2 weeks away, so that whole thing about katrina has nothing at all to do with the Austin audition.
another mentionable point about the Austin audition is that while you wrote that in every audition the producers pick a hundred contestants out of a little more than that to go in front of the judges - in Austin they only sent about 40 (!) people through from the first audition in the stadium (that's 40 out of 7000). most of them were people who were obviously being sent through to be made fun of due to their outer appearence.
by the end of the day, my mom and i were very suspicious that possibly the whole point of this audition was to make fun of austin. and when we saw the episode of the austin audition - we realized we were right. only terrible singers were shown, and ryan seacrest kept on saying "well, there was no talent to be found in austin", when anyone walking around the hallway of the stadium could have heard beautiful voices. there were people there who could sing circles around the contestants who made it to the top 12, but they never even had a chance.
all and all, what my mom and i found to be the worst part of it is that people actually pawn off family jewlery or waste their time and money on something that has nothing what so ever to do with talent, and is nothing at all like what they make it look like on tv. also, i don't think people would find the bad singers as amusing to watch if everyone was aware of the fact that these people were chosen out of 20,000 other contestents, passed another audition and were told that they were good. putting them on international television to be ridiculed about the way they look and the way they sing is pure evil. their tears aren't funny anymore once you understand that they are true tears of pain by people with a dream, who, true, can't sing, but they've been egged on just to be crushed on screen.
i don't watch american idol anymore becuase i don't want to support this cruelty with ratings.
i wish you luck with voting for the worst.
