My parents died in a car accident last year. American Idol was their favorite show. We all would sit around and watch it. Hopeing that the person who MOST earned it would win! What you guys are doing is sooo wrong. Although my parents are dead, I would like American Idol to be around when my kids are born so the legacy can countinue. But with what you people are promoting the show might be canceled or not as good. Please take this in consideration, get rid of this site and be respectful to the fans and the people working hard on this show. Please, you have to update the mail bag more frequently because it's really helping me out of my depression! I'm about to go off my anti-depressants thanks to laughing so much over the past few weeks since I found VFTW. To date my favorite all time label you've been given is "gay retarts!" I'm a disabled mom and grandmom who has to watch WAY more TV that I would like to. I gave up on American Idol after the first year. It just seemed that they went out of their way to make folks look bad at the auditions.

The folks at AI have got to be loving what you guys are doing! Not only is their tired-ass show getting a much-needed shot in the arm, but ratings are thru the roof. All of our family and extended family are watching again and voting all they can in the time allotted.

My wife and I used to be huge fans of American Idol, but this year the so-called "talent" is so programmed and lacking in spontaneity that we honestly have no interest in voting FOR anyone to win based on their suspect singing talent alone! Week after week, the songs and performances are simply too short and way too insipid to win us over at this point. However, your fabulous web site has revived our commitment to staying involved, and we have embarked on a project (involving a main frame hooked up to a PBX network that we can access through our software design firm) to vote Sanjaya into the top tier of contestants. From there, it shouldn't be too hard to place him in the grand finale and possibly even to see him crowned as the American Idol of 2007.

I love this website so much! American idol is only fun to watch because Sanjaya makes it interesting. Tonight I'm gonna be voting for Sanjaya and Melinda. I would love to see them go head to head in the top 2. And as for the people that keep saying you're "abusing your right to free speech", living in a country with free speech means that anyone can say anything they want, not just the things everyone agrees with. Just because they don't like what you say doesn't mean it's not legal, it just means that they're are so full of themselves they can't stand to hear an opinion voiced if they don't agree with it. Many of my peers would agree that what you are doing with regard to voting for the worst singer on American Idol is ludicrous. Here you have twelve young, impressionable people striving to do their best to win a recording contract and (hopefully, in their minds) spend the rest of their lives earning a living (for some an exorbitant living) doing what they love. The contestants are not the ones who contrive to feed viewers the saucy crap edited from initial auditions. No. It is the same money-hungry conservative bastards that screw the American public out of taxes to line their pockets. It is the same money-hungry bastards that needlessly raise fuel prices thus raising the cost-of-living in this here "free" country. It is the same money-hungry bastards that have more money already than sense that come up with "great ideas" for new television shows that the too-poor-to-think-for-themselves people love to watch. I think you're just mad that you did not come up with such a great idea for a television show and now you are trying to undermine what AI is doing. Perhaps you will succeed. I could care less. The First Amendment gloriously protects your God-given right to speak as you will. It also gave the producers the same God-given right to produce what they shall. So, I guess this year's AI really comes down to two contestants: Namely, AI and VFTW. Who will win this season? Stay tuned!

Your site is ruining my life. Yesterday, I went to the grocery store, and I couldn't for the life of me find the food aisle because the clerks were all too busy dancing and singing, impersonating Sanjaya. Then, I went to my doctor's appointment, and when the doctor examined my spreading scars on my body, he giggled and said that my scars might even be worse than Sanjaya's singing abilities. I came home and then continued to burn my house down because I couldn't concentrate on what I was doing while cooking dinner, because I was busy thinking about Sanjaya. See what you're really doing to the world? Before you know it, we'll all be homeless, starving, and dying all because of your site!
