The one that makes me soooo sad is how American Idol is "the show that brings our family together."

First of all, if the only time a family gets together is spent sitting in front of the television, then the parents simply aren't trying. Second, if the show they pick is this one - I just can't go on. No wonder these kids have no critical thinking skills and can't express themselves without resorting to insults and threats. America desperately needs a wake-up call, and any little thing this site can do towards snapping these people from their media-induced trance is a service to all humanity.
