That's correct Smartie. They don't say how many votes the contestants received. For example, last week they only told us a total of 35 million votes were cast. They don't say what the distribution was per contestant. And these kiddies want to keep saying what an upstanding and honest contest this is. Sheesh....

Reality tv never does tell the amount of votes per person. It's all about what the advertisers want, and what the producers want - this is show BUSINESS, and it's mega bucks. They want to maximise profit, and that's what Fox will be wanting out of the product, too. http://smartiesplace.blogspot.com

My question is this: How is this site's mean-spirited and cruel exploitation of Sanjaya for its own gain any different than American Idol? It seems this site is guilty of the very thing they accuse AI of. Making sure more talented people are sent away so you can continue to exploit someone who will not be in the public eye for any longer than your interest in them is the worst kind of cruelty. Especially to a 17 year old boy who is clearly clueless and continues to believe he is the BEST on the show. I would have to wonder if the owner of this site or someone near and dear to him were ever turned away from American Idol as this is a perfect example of sour grapes. Continue to vote for the worst, laughing all the way, while you make sure people who are much more deserving of a recording contract are voted off. THAT will prove how witty, talented and powerful YOU all are... *sigh* (there's always someone in the crowd looking to ruin it for the majority and those with no talent who will jump on their bandwagon...kinda reminds me of schoolyard bullies)

How is this site mean-spirited and cruel to Sanjaya? Hell, that kid should be thanking us because he would have gone home a couple of weeks ago. Also, Sanjaya himself said he wasn't the best singer, so I really doubt he's got delusions of gradeur about his singing abilities. In case you didn't notice, his hairstyles and comments to the judges just prove that he knows exactly what's going on and is embracing it while he can. Now, if you want to see a schoolyard of bullies, come to my playground. The VFTW Message Board. I dare ya.

You go girl we're all behind you with the playground patrol. I think Sanjaya sister should be Maxim's girl of the day! Can't get enough of her. Pictures say it all: http://www.watt-up.com/j_gallery/Shyamali_Malakar/Shyamali_Malakar.html
