Dear PEBKAC: You are brilliant, awesome, and mad cool. Most of the time, I don't need to respond to these morons, because you have sliced and diced them with your wit and intelligence. You are ridiculously righteous. Smartie, RJinLA, joey, meow, anastasia, Ric, mike_smiley...the list of freakin' brilliant folks goes on, and on, and on... You all (and many others) have elevated this site with your phenomenal running commentary. KUDOS to you all! In Gratitude and Appreciation, M-Dawg

Kooky: That's right, you have no proof. I do watch the show, I watch it every week. I also watch "American Idol Extra" and I catch any snipets the news stations may have. I have not seen anything to indicate any foul play on the part of the votes. I will state again that people are grasping at anything to explain why Sanjaya went home when the truth of the matter is he is just bad and got voted off.

Siridol: "Oh, and if you think this show produces great musical artists you're on crack." That is an opinion, one that millions will disagree with. Personally I think Kelly Clarkson is a great singer as well as Carrie Underwood. Fantasia is a great singer but hasn't really done anything. Clay and Chris Daughtry are also great singers/performers. But then, that's my opinion.

It's not "foul play" when they even state that they can dismiss votes, etc. as they see fit.

Sure it's an opinion, but I'm talking about GREAT talent, not fun music. Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood have great voices--not doubt BUT their albums are pure pop fun and nothing more. I doubt in 20 years we'll put their albums next to The Beatles "Abbey Road" or Nirvana's "Nevermind". American Idol would never take an artistic risk. They produce music for the masses. Just because an albums sells millions does not mean it's good--just successful. I said nothing about the show producing successful albums, I said "great musicial artists". Remember, N'Sync sold millions and even Paula Abdul's "Forever Your Girl" was one of the biggest albums of it's time. American Idol is pure pop fun--nothing more. Sure Chris Daughtry's album is catchy but isn't it just basically in the formula of Nickelback and Three Doors Down? Again, I never said it sucked, it's just not as great as people are making it out to be. Then again, you may think it is and there's no point in me even bringing these points up.
