The mere fact that they fawned all over Melinda last night, and that was by far, the worst performance she's ever had is proof positive that they have their favorites. I mean, Melinda didn't royally suck, but she was off her game a bit last night, and none of the judges had a negative word to say.

Nobody said the show was fixed to hand the crown to the contestant 19 Entertainment Co. deemed to be most apt to make them the most money through post idol record sales. In fact, the opposite could be true. Chris Daughtry obviously didn’t need to win to sell some records. Hicks on the other hand needed it more to promote his work (in a way, maybe the producers do the same thing this site tries to do). Maybe the producers realized that before the competition was over. Don’t forget, these kids are on contract with 19E after the competition is over anyway. Of course, it’s all speculation.

BTW, Kat did not yet sell as many records as Taylor, although she seems to get around more. See the figures I posted on page four here (could be on a latter page depending on how many replies get posted).

It is evident that the show is fixed and has been from the start. I think that we are seeing AI slide into never-never land. This year is so bland vocally and the judges(?) are so predictible that watching is a complete waste of time. I'm going to keep up with the show by looking at who's voted(?) off online I'll spend my free time by doing something exciting, like watching grass grow or water evaporate.

You are probably right about Melinda...she does have some pipes, but the only way I can listen to her is if I look away!!!! She reminds me of Clay Aiken, no offense to her (although it kind of is offensive to be quite honest), but both of them have the ugliest faces when they sing.

And if I have to look at Kiki's big ass tongue one more time...um, well...I guess I just won't look. ;)

Oh, if only it were possible for them both to go this week...wouldn't that be great?

I agree Melinda is not so great to look at. However, her singing talent is beautiful to listen to. I also get the vibe that she is probably the most sincere and real of all the other kiddies.

Y'know at first I liked Lascreecha, however, her attitude sucks and I am tired of her "Feel sorry for me, I'm a single mama" drama. That just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

And now with finding out about Jordin and her "political agenda" well, I am staying with my gut feeling.
