It's interesting that you see the speck in the eyes of the AI producers & judges, yet you don't notice the log in your own..... Quite hypocritical of you to find fault with American Idol Gives Back because of the revenue generated by the show when it's revenue in your own pocket that fuels your selfishness via this website. As difficult as it is for me, I pray for you ~ have you not yet figured out that life here on earth is nothing in comparison to eternity? It must be awful to be so full of hate that the only way in which you find pleasure is by hurting others. That's a sad life.......that's why I pray for you ~ as difficult as it is. Your apparent lack of success is evident in the way you find fault with successful people and favor with the unsuccessful. Really not such unusual behavior though........it is human nature to bond with one's own kind. In the end, you justify this in your own selfish "because it makes me feel good" and "I get paid for it" attitude. So, it's understandable that you didn't like the AI Gives Back episode.............you operate in the "give it to me" mode, and you simply fail to comprehend this thing called "charity". It's too bad that you may not understand the pain or the scope of your actions until you meet your maker, and it's even worse that you are making a bed that your family will have to lie in, and pay for. I do pray that you will eventually reach emotional maturity and recognize the error of your ways ~ but also realize it will likely be too late to right the wrongs that will haunt the people you love the most (excluding yourself). Fueling such hate and anger is deplorable in the wake of the recent tragedy at Virginia Tech. Albeit on a much smaller scale, you're really no different than Cho..........taking down the innocent to satisfy your own selfish appetite. PS Do you have the personal fortitude to post this on your website? ..................that's what I thought, no big surprise.
-Kelli

I don't get it. We all know that the bullshit explanation on your home page about "why we do it" is just that, bullshit. So what is the real reason? Is your life so empty and meaningless that you can only be happy by making so many others unhappy? Is it the feeling of power you get from the fact that a bunch of mindless sheep follow your command? I'm pretty sure I could guess what your psychologist would say about that. I can think of another individual in history who had that kind of psychosis, and I'm sure Adolph is in hell watching your every move and cheering you on all the way. I would suggest you should just tell the truth. Let everyone know the REAL reason you created this site. Don't hide behind bullshit explanations about how you're trying to "make a more entertaining show" because your propaganda just pisses people off.
-R. Winters

You are fucking bitches, and I hope you rot in hell. You failed in your mission to stop idol, as simon is now coming back for sure. Since Sanjaya has been voted off, everyone left is at least decent. So, I have to say, FUCK YOU ASSHOLES-ROT IN HELL!
-Eric

I found your link through an article about Sanjaya being voted off. This is absolutely hilarious. It's actually made American Idol interesting. I never used to watch before. Keep it up!
-Lillian

YOU GUYS SHOULD REALLY STOP THIS STUPIDNESS. A LOT OF VIEWERS AREN'T ENJOYING THE WHOLE TRICK ON AMERICAN IDOL. THEY ARE LOSING THEIR VIEWERS AND THEY ALMOST LOST SIMON. GET IT STRAIGHT THIS SHOULD BE A FAIR COMPETITION. BACK OFF. SERIOUSLY.
-Bnagaoka

Sorry Sanjaya got the boot. I thought with Stern’s following, you were sure to make this happen. I was voting for Sanjaya as much as I could. I saw you on Letterman and I have to say, eww. You’re such a dork. At first I thought it was cute but then…I don’t know…you’re just a dorkwad. After seeing that interview I don’t think I will be supporting your idea anymore. I think you should have stayed anonymous. You should also check to see if you have Parkinson’s or smoke some weed before you do interviews to mellow out that nervous nodding thing you got going. I do wish you the best of luck.
-Jo

i just happened upon your site. i sincerely hope that your site is intended to be "tongue in cheak" in a world of many "perfections" and many "imperfections" there are always those who attempt (usually with humor) to direct the outcome of situations so as to , somewhat, direct the eventual outcome more to their liking, or perhaps just to inject a little intrigue into what might be just a situation of little importance in the vast realm of things. when it comes to singing competitions, most thinking people enjoy them for what they are. We each will be influenced by our ingrained feelings and musical preferences, and, the randys, the paulas and the simons of this world, oh and lets include the ryans, are just there to direct traffic. one should not take them too seriously. if they begin to take themselves too serious, the purpose of the competition will be compromised. any way, what i have tried to say, is each to their own and lets let it be what it will be. as for the 30 odd million collected, there really should be no discussion. any time we can help our fellow man, good on us.
-DS

IF YOU DON’T LIKE THE SHOW, JUST DON’T WATCH IT, BUT WHY RUIN IT FOR THE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO DO LIKE IT. IT’S CERTAINLY NOT DOING YOU ANY HARM. THAT’S WHY WE HAVE HUNDREDS OF TV CHANNELS ON CABLE AND SATTELITE, SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE TO WATCH TV. DO YOU EAT FOOD YOU DON’T LIKE? DO YOU WEAR CLOTHES YOU DON’T LIKE? ARE YOU JUST MEAN EVIL PEOPLE? I DON’T GET IT.
-Rich

Like I said before, your website SUCKS and you will be fading into obscurity any time now. Howard Stern finally wised up and dropped your asses so you have no support. If you couldn't succeed with SANJAYA, what makes you think you ever will? You'll never be able to top your fifteen minutes of fame that he brought you and your stupid ass desperate cry for attention will shut down after you finally realize that. Of course you won't post this message because it's too fu$#ing honest, but you know I'm right. Suck it FAG. You lose!!
-Kevin

What the heck is wrong with you???? I am a big American idol fan, and you are ruining the show. I think Phil is the best singer. Jordan is definitely the worst, You most hated fan,
-Joe

Was it just me, or did anybody else think Terri Hatcher looked like Michael Jackson last night?
-Soni

After having read some of the e-mails posted on your website, I'm sorry to disappoint you with a positive message. I suspect there are many more supportive e-mails than negative, but they aren't nearly as entertaining. I love what you're doing. It's hilarious. And your site seems like the best place to vent my spleen a little. I read where Bono told the children (presumably of the US & the world) that impossible dreams are possible despite what they've been told by their parents and their teachers. I'm a teacher. If I didn't believe in aspiring to reach dreams, possible or seemingly impossible, this would be the last job in the world I'd take. Thanks, Bono. You idiot. Thanks. I feel better.
-Stew

I understand what you said about why you vote for the worst, yes it is very entertaining. A concern I have with that is what happens to their self esteem if they win the competition because of your votes. Do you really think that very many people will want to listen to their songs they make after the show is over? I think that by voting for the worst you are setting those people up for a huge humilliating disapointment in front of the whole country that will definately emotionally effect them. In my opinion you are hurting them more than the judges critisizm.
-Joe

Though I myself am not a worster, nor am I one who calls in to vote, I have to say the "Idol Gives Back" episode was the CHEESIEST thing I have ever seen (for what I actually saw of it). It was so bad that I kept flipping back and forth between the show and VH1's "I love the 80's 3D" (which is the definitive definition of Cheese). Sadly I spent more time watching VH1 (Those Casio calculator watches were COOL. I don't care what anyone else thinks). Thanks Idol for boring me to tears.
-Michael

VFTW have to be the largest assortment of losers ever assembled.
-D. Eves

OMG! I had to contact you in response to your comments about Phil "Dracula" Stacey! As you know, he is from Jacksonville, FL, as am I. I moved to Jax a few years ago, and have found it to be an intellectual wasteland and cultural vacuum. What's funny is that Phil fits the prototype of what I have lovingly labeled a "TJ" (Typical Jacksonvillian). He has all the features--shaved head, pale skin, sunken-in eyes, no personality--walks around like a zombie, usually they are covered in tattoos (though I can't tell if Phil has any), and they have a look of rage on their face like they would just tear your heart out and eat it if you looked at them the wrong way (I think this is the result of excessive meth use). Anyways, I just found it hilarious that you also noticed many of these same features in Phil, and I just wanted to let you know that it's not his fault--apparently, it's what Jacksonville does to people. Save yourself now, Phil--go back to Oklahoma!
-CS

I have read other posts from people who are so outraged by this website. People need to realize that this show is a joke to begin with. Think of all the people they let through to audition in the beginning (painful) weeks. These auditioner's have to go through producers to make it to the stage to audition in front of the judges - if this is supposed to be a singing competition then why put these people through to see the judges?? Ratings!! People eat up those obnoxious, funny performances that we know aren't "American Idol" material. If this show wasn't about ratings and only about talent, then why let those who are "not right for this competition" through? Because it IS about ratings! The people who make it through Hollywood week are supposedly the best of the best.. We've all seen from last season that the ones who are really are talented, make it! Even though they didn't win! The winner last season hasn't been heard from at all and most of the others have contracts (whether they should or not is another discussion..). So what does that tell us? It doesn't matter who wins and who doesn't. Most people know that Sanjaya probably should've been let go a long time ago, but isn't it fun to give the long shot a little nudge? Most of the people that were voted off in his place will be heard from again and honestly, they probably would've been let go eventually anyway.. I do understand why people are upset about this philosophy, but really, it's not doing any harm. This is a reality show that has nothing to do with real talent anyway - if people could understand that then maybe they wouldn't take what this website is doing so seriously.
-Jodi

Ha ha bitches, Sangina is gone and Phil is back. You guys are losers who have nothing beter to do than this shit. The only reason this is good is because you retards are voting constantly on Idol Gives Back night. Knock your crap off.
-Hillary

This is so pathetic. How sad it is to see what American society views as important these days. People are dying every day whether it be from War, disease, starvation, lack of Health coverage or any one of thousands upon thousands of worthy causes. It's heartbreaking to think about how many people in need could get the help they seek if others devoted one tenth of the time that they put towards stupid, mindless websites such as this one. This is pathetic and you all should be ashamed. Get a life.
-Phil

Dear Dave:

It seems to me that the number of VFTW haters sending this site hateful messages has dwindled. Is that true? Or, have you been simply worn out by the inbred fucktards and their never ending flow of diarrhea?

I read Kelli's message...she is a self-righteous twat who's pathetically attempting to cover up her slavish devotion to A REALITY TELEVISION SHOW by trying to assign guilt to you and this site. Her pseudo-psychobabble is ridiculously hilarious. And, for some sort of self-proclaimed religious individual, she is pretty hateful, petty and vindictive. She's comparing you to CHO??? She's an evil asshole...Kelli, the only person who will burn in hell is you, bitch.

I read R. Winters' message...this smackass threw down the "Adolph" card! When these fucking asswipes start comparing this site to Nazis...well, man, it's pathetic that they can't identify their own evil when they do this. This jerk's a jackass.

I read Eric's message...he's a stupid inbred hillbilly. Not worth writing anything else about him.

I read Bnagaoka's message...is this jerk threatening you? OOOOOOH...spooooooky....spooky and stupid.

I read Jo's message...whoa! Is this bunghole jealous of you or what? Creepy dumbass.

I read Hillary's message...moron, moron, moron.

And, finally, I read Kevin's messsage...AGAIN with the homophobia! I mean, seriously, wazzup wit' 'dat? Kevin, you pathetic closet case...the first ones to yell "fag" are always the first ones who crave big dicks up their asses. Kevin...you two-toothed, smack-shootin', brain dead retard...come out of your closet, and embrace your homosexuality!

Dave, thank you for this site, my man...PLEASE keep up the OUTSTANDING work!

xo,

M-Dawg

Yep, much less mail now, but if Phil can pull of a shocker next week, the mail will come pouring in again ;-)

Kelli,

I really like how you like to point out that somebody's elses opinion of a show is wrong and fueled by "hate" or "anger". I also like how you compare someone's (or a website's) criticism of a television show such as American Idol to the horror that was the Virginia Tech shooting. Are you really that big of a moron, or that insensitive, that you would say that someone's dislike for American Idol (Especially that horrendous show this past week - I'll get to that next) is WORSE than the murder of 32 innocent students and instructors at VTU. Do you really think the Parents of these young men and women are sitting at home thinking "Yeah, it's tough that my child was just murdered for no reason at all but, hey!, at least they didn't join that 'vote for Sanjaya' movement." You're a pathetic waste of human flesh.

Secondly, if you read anything about what the rest of the world is saying about the "AI Gives Back" episode is that it was a waste of most of the viewers time. You know why? Not because the people aren't charitable or don't wish to support such a cause. It's because they choose to turn on Idol to be entertained - not hit up for cash! (although I'm not sure how anyone could be entertained by such drivel) There's something about people like Madonna, Ellen (although she did give $100,000) or Rupert Murdoch (Owner of Fox TV) begging for the "common" people to solve the worlds problems when, quite frankly, people of such wealth as Madonna (net worth $850 million +), Ellen ($65 million) and, of course, Rupert (9 BILLION DOLLARS) could easily fix a lot of the worlds problems (such as hunger in Africa) by merely giving a one time donation of 20% of their net worth which is more money than the "average" american will ever see in their lifetime.

Yeah, I can understand why THEY are asking me for help. As of 2004, the average net worth of an AVERAGE american (that includes the super wealthy like Ellen, Madonna and Rupert) was $93,100. Convert that to what the average american is worth....she Gave $143.00. Now I'm sure that she (and others) have given money to other charities but really, exactly how much money is enough? She could've dropped $3,000,000 and not notice a change in her lifestyle whatsoever (Rupert could drop $3 billion and not notice it).

In closing, the show was a flop. Nobody wanted to participate in a telethon sponsored by the wealthy. Because someone (including the people who operate this website) decides they didn't like the show doesn't make them guilty of anything except having an opinion. It doesn't make them a terrorist or crazed killer - it makes them human and, in this case, part of the majority who really felt slighted by this weeks show.

Kelli, get over yourself already.

I agree with your thoughts. It was so phony. Ryan seacrest's cheap attempt to keep the audience not moving from the television might have paid off. Simon Cowell who cannot sing for life is judging singers! Entire America believes him? How ridiculous that must be. But since they are not giving the break up of the votes we can safely conclude it is one big bogus. They can throw anyone they want at any time they want without question like they did for Sanjaya. Sanjaya is so popular that nobody was going to stop him from winning AI that they had to intervene.

Simon the biggest hypocrite on the planet of the earth keeps whining "It is a singing competition". But what does he do? saying things like "Your eyes are scary", "you look like monkey". Has he ever talked about technical details of singing? Probably he is doing the easiest job in the world. He has 9 to 10 adjectives and juggles with them. Basically blaming him is not useful. You gotta blame these foolish and ignorant people like Kelli who let a TV show rule her life. As a result we are getting these pointless ramblings.

The hate mail is great, i think it tapered off because phil just doesn't inspire hatred or love of him. he's just kinda...there.

Since the crop this season is thin now, I wonder what next season will bring?

Yo Nightwing, did you see my earlier post today regarding Sanjaya's mama. Apparently she was arrested two years ago because she had over 300 mary ju wanna plants growing in the garage. She only spent 30 days in the pokey though. She told the judge she was growing for the medically needy. Sign me up!

Love Kev

Dear Dave:

I can't wait for this to happen! :-)

Hey...one more thing...

I can only imagine how expensive it is to keep this site up and running. I completely understand and back you fully for putting ads on this site. I know that this is a labor of love for you, but love shouldn't force one into debtor's prison.

Further, I have supported some and plan to support more of this site's sponsors/advertisers. This site is THE REAL DEAL, my man...hopefully, it'll morph to take on more insidious targets...and, hopefully, it'll continue to piss off more insidious morons!

Allow me to translate Kelli's email:

Blah blah blah rant rant yada yada snore blah blah smidge of guilt blather blah.

Phil honey, what have YOU done to help combat hunger, disease and poverty, other than logging into VFTW to whine? Hmmm?

Hillary, that's not how a Presidential nominee speaks. Naughty.

Joe - name for me ten people who actually, willingly, wish to listen to the dross Idol contestants sing, after the freakshow ends for another season.

Rich - STOP SHOUTING. It's quite rude. Now, put down the remote and go outside and pat a dog. Feel the sun on your face. Take your shoes off and walk on some grass. Enjoy life, stop obsessing about a tv show. It really doesn't matter.

Eric - what have I told you about flirting with me in public? You need to come out a bit more, share a bit more of your dirty thoughts, it really gets me going. Roooorrrww!

While there are less of the normal crop of hate mails, and they seem weaker, there are still a few here which are laughable.

Kelli - Wow. You have some issues there girl. Virginia Tech was a tragedy, but I guess with the pussies our schools are turning out these days I shouldn't be surprised that your warped mind would compare anything against Idol to Virginia Tech. We should send you to Iraq for a month. Then we'll see what you think of VT vs. AI.

R. Winters - Again you prove Godwin's Law. *sigh* And why do you think we're doing this for any reason other than the stated one? Trust me. I didn't watch Idol the last two years, this is the first time, in a long time that Idol has been fun, so grow up.

Eric - We have no problem with Idol or Simon coming back, we just wish that Idol would be honest. So, having said that, it would have been hysterical if Simon had left.

Lillian - We love you to :)

Bnagaoka - And yet they keep on watching.....Apperantly they have no free will of their own.

Jo - Umm......Huh? Why not just say that you won't join in the future fun? Did you need to insult Dave in the process?

DS - Actually a fairly decent email. Surprisingly well thought out. Of course, this site is toungue in cheek, but we're having fun, and "ruining" Idol for the Tweens. What better goal is there ;)

Rich - Cus it's fun for us? We love seeing how y'all get irked by this :)

Kevin - You said it once before....then why come back again? I think you're secretly a worster just to afraid to admit it.

Joe - Nothing is wrong with us. We're cool. That's why I'm a pilot ;)

Soni - Didn't see it.

Stew - w00t! Way to go :)

Joe #2 - As only one person can win, they will all suffer the horror of being voted off. We're helping one person stay on. That should be a good thing. If they are humiliated by the support, well, that's their issue.

Michael - he he he

D. Eves - Yet again...loosers don't become pilots ;) Or in the case of one of our number, Special Agents with the Govt.

CS - We're observant that way :)

Jodi - Well put :) Welcome to VFTW :)

Hillary - I didn't vote at all on Idol Gives Back night. They don't deserve my money. My Charities are the Maryland State Police Polar Bear Plunge for Special Olympics, The United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys-For-Tots, and Jerry's Kids. Idol Gives Back was none of those, so it got no money from me. Oh, and just for that I'm supporting Obama.

Phil - Many of us on this site give to charities, and we don't need TV to tell us about the suffering in the world. You know what you need to do? Read a newspaper. Remember those? They can be delivered to your home.

Wow...Slightly less rabid crop of morons, yet still satisfying ;)

Dave, I love what your site stands for and does :) You rock dude! Keep up the good work!
