Based on that sign, I gather that Jordin is the one criticizing others for having a choice and belief in their morals.

I don't care about someone's choice of religion until they blatantly try to take away my choice. Her invasiveness is disgusting.

Whatever. I knew MY values at 17. They didn't suddenly hit me in the ass from behind at 19, or 20, or 21, or 22.

It's one thing to HAVE a belief at 17. It's another to PREACH it. Teens start having sex around 14-15 nowadays, donchaknow. If Jordin were to preach this at 17, she damn well will carry it.

I know. I've talked to the anti-gay marriage crowd at 17. No matter how much they loved me, or believed in women getting ahead, or loved their gay friend, they stayed anti-gay marriage anti-choice throughout the next 5 years or more.

The woman ain't 12. She's 17. Don't treat her like a child.

I'm Catholic. Doens't make me sing at Pro-Life rallies and all that wack bull.

Since when did "Christian" equate restricting freedoms? Girl is 17. She's locked in for the next 10 years on her beliefs.

I used to love Jordin like woah. Voted for her as much as Sanjaya. No more. Gravy train's over. OHMIGOSH I'm so excited... for a reactionary freak.

Say what you want about KiKi, but you know damn well she's a liberal from Flint. Preach it, Michigan sister. :)

Would you be so upset if she was found to be a radical left wing activist and a practicing Wiccan?

Or would you then be Praising her for her boldness and brilliance?

And FTR, Melinda Dolittle has STRONG "Christian" connections and has been quite vocal about her faith.

And how about the latest VFTW "Postorboy" Phil Stacey? I hear he is a "Christian" too!!!

Head for the hills, the FUNDIES ARE COMING!!!! (Sarcasm)

To talk about abortion being a "Choice" is absolutely asinine!

Make the choice before you drop you drawers and spread you legs!

You made the choice to jump in the sack? Guess what, the pregnancy is the RESULT of that choice!!

Murdering your unborn child is not a "Choice" it is the pinnicle of SELFISHNESS!!!

Yeah, ladies. What he said. So if you get raped and become pregnant, just keep the kid and be happy about it. And I can say this because I'm a man and I know what's best for you and your body, not some idiot doctor. And none of this morning after pill stuff either because when we get done with the abortions, we're going after that next. And don't even get me started on stem cell research. And you gay people, hell will freeze over before you'll ever get married.

Exactly.

(Don't forget about not pulling the plug if I've been in a braindead coma for years, either, okay?)

Even outside of rape (which I don't trust Jordin or lawmakers or VFTW posters to determine, anyway) three indisputable facts prevail.

1. Promotion of abstinence is completely ineffective.

2. Even if Jordin had her way and abortion was illegal, 75% of abortions would still occur, only they'd be done with coathangers.

3. Embryos are not children, by any definition.

But even excluding those overwhelmingly obvious reasons to keep abortion legal, and even excluding cases of rape (can you, really???) it's not up to Jordin, or lawmakers, or you, to overrule women and their doctors.

I have no problem with true Christians. I even like Chris Daughtry.

But it's futile to argue with brainwashed fundamentalists, so i'm gonna go back to lurking the hilarious photochop threads. See you there, lovers of freedom.

Jordin sure lost my votes! Boooo on her!

I've never seen people behave so idiotically. "Oh I'm not going to vote for Jordin anymore, because she's a pro-life evangelical Christian!!!"

I mean, the HORROR.

It never ceases to amaze me how openly bigoted people can be towards Christians. If Jordin were a Scientologist or involved with another cult (and that's exactly what Scientology is - a dangerous cult) like Kabbalah, nobody would say a word. If she were running around making an ass out of herself like Sheryl Crow and Nataline Maines spouting anti-war drivel, VFTW wouldn't have bothered posting images from her Myspace page.

But she's a pro-life Christian so that of course, makes her an open target.

And give the coathanger nonsense a rest, ok? That kind of blather is the equivalent of the "I sell drugs to feed my kids" crap. IE, it's so absurd that it doesn't deserve a serious response.
