This is really promising for Phil's sense of humor, and that of his family. It's great when people get what we do who are actually on the show. If this parental thing isn't evidence enough, then I think last night's song featuring "first blood" being drawn and mentioning being "six feet under" shows that even after several centuries of unholy existence, you can still crack a modern joke or two.

In this article with the Daily News Journal in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Adrell Stacey tells a reporter that her son has a good sense of humor about VFTW. Adrell says, "At first, I was wondering why he would have been chosen, but it's not a bad thing. The more votes, the better." Yay for Phil's mom! We just want to make sure you understand that we love Phil and that we want to help him out since he's not who the show wants to win. He hasn't even gotten to sing last in the finals... yet how many times have Melinda and Jordin closed the show? Let's honorarily induct Phil and Adrell into Worsterdom... and let's hope he survives tonight's double elimination against all odds.
