I have been a worster since Sanjaya was named king, I voted my heart out for that guy. The Phil I voted for passionately. But now Lakisha? I really dont think she is the worst. Though I might be bias because I live not 30 minutes from where she currently lives here in Maryland, but I cant pull myself to vote for her if I should continue to vote for the worst. I really do believe Blake is the worst, then Jordin, then Lakisha then Melinda(who I throwup every time i see her).

Jordin had gone as far as she can go, She is too one dimentional.

Blake is nothing without BeatBoxing, even when he does have it, his vocals are horrible. The olny two people with vocals and talens it (cough cough) melinda and Likiki.

Funny thing about the "arts" ... opinions may well weigh equally with fact in the fame and success game (at least in the "present"), but they really don't alter the actual facts involved. From a strictly objective place, the ONLY "singer" in the entire slate of finalists who can actually carry a tune, avoid the "pop scream," and sing with any understanding of the lyric has been Melinda. I'll avoid all the easy reasons while Lakisha is a far cry from a usable pop commodity to AI producers ... but the *facts* are that her diction is a pathetic melding of ebonics and downs syndrome, she SCREAMS everything with no connection to any aspect of any lyric (remember how thoroughly she ignored Tony Bennett's advice?), and, stylistically, her "niche" is incredibly cookie cutter and disposable (making the cheap shots about her appearance and manner something less than empty and simply, well, just easy). Jordin runs a close second to Lakisha in her inability to bring an ounce of art to her performances. Blake may not have anything near a "singer's singer" voice ... but at least he has the ability to stand out in this crowd of banality. In pop music, THAT often a far more important and marketable commodity than a great voice. (Don't believe me? Start by reviewing 95% of the guest "stars" this year!) Personally, I'd rather watch an hour of William Hung than 5 minutes of "regular" Idol. At least he's funny-bad instead of sincere-pathetic-bad.

The reason why TONS of VFTW'ers tuned out after Sanjaya left is that NONE of the contestants left are either accomplished enough or funny-bad enough to deserve our attention. At a certain point in the competition, there's little that we can do to *really* throw a wrench into the AI machine, and we simply become welcome Nielson fodder for the producer's crap reality TV. (I was chided previously for not "understanding" the VFTW mission when I suggested jumping on the Haley bandwagon once it became obvious that Sanjaya had become such a rallying cry that the producers secretly LOVED having him stay on as water cooler fodder ... at this point they could put make-up on any of the remaining crap and sell it to the idiot public. They couldn't care less who wins now either.) Personally, I'd LOVE for the ratings to tank as the finale neared. It *was* fun while it lasted, though.

I GUESS it could be construed as fun to try and get my skin crawling by talking about what a terrific, powerhouse singer Lakisha is. The real trick would be seeing if you could have this conversation two years from now and have ANYONE know who you were talking about.

Let's all vote for Lakisha like a crazy maniac because she's the one that the producers/judges would not really want to see win. I am definitely voting for her for the straight 4 hours and lots of my friends will be doing the same thing. After Sanjaya, I started to hate Jordin(the most), Melinda and then Blake because they are SAnjaya haters. VOTE FOR SWEET LAKISHA.

He can't do How Deep Is Your Love because he won't have

We should vote for both Blake and Ate-LaQuich-e. It will just take double texting....

this site carries a great joke, but in terms of talent and originality, Blake does deserve to win, hands down, and hand up, whichever your preference

but I would relish a finale with the Antipodes: LaQuinta and Blake

Tall vs runt

Fat vs. runt

Round vs. runt

Tooth gap projected sound vs. side of mouth production

Dark hair vs. ?? next week's surprise
